Rose, that's great that Sweetie was able to help with so much yard work with you. IKWYM about sunscreen. It always feels sticky and I think it makes me feel hotter, because maybe I'm not able to sweat as much? Well, I guess, if it's "sweat proof" that just means you will sweat but it won't run off. At any rate, I don't like to have it on, either.

That does sound pretty expensive, Twins, for ice. I don't have an ice maker anymore. DDIL's dad disconnected it and my freezer started working properly again. He said probably when the ice maker went into the "defrost" cycle, it was getting stuck and staying there, making everything thaw out too much. I have a bag of ice in there that we bought at Thanksgiving that is still about half full, so obviously, I am not using a lot! I don't like ice in my drinks because it melts and they get too watery. I just keep all my soft drinks in the refrigerator.
I am certainly impressed with your steps. Here, it's a big day if I get in 5000.
A friend at dmom's church invited me to come exercise with them on MWF mornings. My friend I eat lunch with is in the class too. I know I'd love being with those ladies, and it would be good for me... but ugh... 8:30 in the morning??? I've got to think on this some more.Happy birthday to LordM! Oh my goodness, obviously my brain is just MIA lately. It JUST now occurred to me that when you mentioned "tree coming down," LadyM, you were talking about the CHRISTMAS tree. Duh. And I've been trying to explain for two days that no LIVE trees have fallen around here.
Oh well. Y'all are used to me having these lapses of brain power, I guess. I have not cuop yet -- DST always does a real number on me. I did NOT go to bed earlier to compensate for the lost hour, so I've been sorta draggy all day.
DGS and I went to my dmom's church this morning (after our Sunday School classes at our church) -- and dmom wasn't even there!
(She was having some issues with dizziness.) My cousin sent a group text last night and said her newest grandchild was having a baby dedication this morning, and we were all invited. So DGS and I went; ddil and dgd stayed at church because ddil was filling in for the nursery worker (who had a flat tire on the way to church) and a little friend of dgd's was there and he doesn't normally come to our church on Sundays. So ddil wanted her to stay so he'd have a friend in children's church.After church, we came home and ate frozen pizza and I took a nap. I could use another. I have a movie set to record on the DVR tonight -- The Butler. It is about a man who served as butler at the White House through 7 presidents, I believe. I don't think dh and I saw it at the theater, but we may have.
I may have to nap till the movie comes on.
