Good afternoon! I am one of those not reacting well to the time change, although I had to be up fairly early to be set to go for a 9 am meeting kicking off the work project. The schedule runs for the rest of the year; it looks like I'm going to be alternating between one week of intense work followed by one week off, rinse and repeat, although my real work doesn't start until April. (Things have plenty of steps to go before they get to me.)

I did only the slightest of CUOPs this weekend. I do remember lucylee asking about followups to my biopsy. I've got a two-week check coming up on Wednesday; there should be another check after that that is still unscheduled. I don't remember if that check is at six weeks after surgery or six weeks after the first check.

So, Rose has genealogy early in the day, while Twins has many errands to run before hers.

Harriet, have you had to replace that fridge any time recently (like when you switched houses, maybe)? If so, did you have trouble? When we got our new fridge, the showroom was mostly full of these behemoths. The one we got barely fit through the door. The smaller ones were shoved off in a corner. DH didn't even look at them. I wish he had; while the one we got has more space inside, it's not nearly as well-organized as our old one. This one just has vast expanses of shelves that can't even be adjusted all that much. Anyhow, I'm glad you got the pie ingredients and hope the timing all works out.

Right now, there are trucks outside my house replacing a section of curb that was cut out a week or two ago. Why they cut it in the first place, I don't know. I'm hoping these trucks do not pose too much of an obstacle to the animal guy, who is supposed to come now that the weather is dry and sunny and patch up the hole where the raccoons got in. (Sorry to hear they're giving you trouble, too, LadyM.)

I have the first beach club flyers of the year to fold and number so DC can deliver them. After that, I should do breakfast and lunch dishes and get a load of wash going.

LadyM, if you're going to relocate make sure it's not a nursing mama with babies stowed somewhere. I think they usually give birth a little later, but you never know. And Happy Birthday to LordM.

RR, tell me about the genealogy class! Is it online or IRL? What' s it about? There are a million online if you ever to learn more. Legacy Family Tree webinars is a particularly great site. An annual subscription for everything there is $49, although there are some free webinars as well.

And yes, on the topic of racoons, Mystery, be sure and patch up that hole before one gets back in and nests with babies! How early does the beach club open?

I'm home from workout - great as usual. Not as hard a workout as some, I wasn't feelin' it but got through a decent one. I'm having leftover grilled chicken and sweet potato from Saturday night. When one doesn't eat brunch until nearly noon, meals have to be adjusted. I'm trying for more protein. Dh is out this evening anyway so I won't be cooking.

I am doing the happy dance. After trying at 4 different hospital/medical places just to be told they can't do that test, we finally have DH EEG test scheduled. I admit to being like a dog with a favorite bone and refusing to let it go. I keep calling and asking questions until a place was finally found. Test is schedule for Thursday morning. Regardless of what the test results shows, they will provide clues to confirm or eliminate possible diagnosis.
Takeaway - Everyone needs an advocate for medical care.

hello - it has been absolutely wonderful being outside - I can't believe it but it 68 degrees - I am sure snow will come again and 10 degree temps will touch my garden again but for today the outside is magical. My body is not as thrilled - it told me to exercise this winter but I didn't listen.

I need to get cleaned up so that I can visit dh. mom is doing great

Boy, I was dragging for sure. It was after 1:00 pm when I woke up. But remember, I had a really hectic week last week, plus dgrands Friday night/Saturday morning/Sunday afternoon.
Even after I woke up, I stayed in bed a long time, watching TV and scrolling on my phone -- until DS called. That kinda spurred me to some action and while on the phone,
I started a load of laundry and
brought the garbage can back from the road, and
re-filled the garbage can. All the while thinking, "WHY was dh always RIGHT???" The whole time, I could hear dh in my head: "THIS is why you take the garbage to the road EVERY week, even if it's NOT full." Sigh. It never crossed my mind how much trash the contractors would create. I mean, they were very good about cleaning up their mess, but they did leave garbage bags full of stuff like the plastic they put on the floors, scraps of sheetrock, etc. So I got all that to the road today, and then after the garbage truck ran, I put the trash compactor bag in assorted other stuff, plus a little bit of the construction debris.
The laundry is now laid out ready to hang to dry,
dgrands' clothes are folded and back in their room (except for what is still in the dryer) and
I walked almost 30 minutes while on the phone with DS and dmom.
I've eaten an apple with some very sweet "salted caramel pecan honey butter" and a bunch of crackers
stupidly opened the door when the ring doorbell told me there was a man out there -- how stupid. The whole reason I have the ring doorbell is so I don't have to open the door if I don't know the person. SMH... He had on a shirt with a logo, so what am I thinking, serial killers can't get shirts with logos??? Luckily he was a roofer and wanted to leave his card and offer a free inspection of my roof. I told him someone had actually been up there last week and thinks I can get another year or two out of this roof. Sigh.
I have to go s2s -- dgd's ballgame is at 6:30 and it is almost 5:30 now.

Good job accomplishing the scheduling of the test, LadyM.

Yes, lucylee, stick to your plan when thinking to whom you will open your door. Get the most out of the dollars you spent as far as seeing who is there, too. That's a lot of walking.

Mystery, I believe this fridge was purchased when dstepson was living here, so about five years ago. It just barely fits into the space for it, and I do wonder if we will be able to replace easily. It is a side-by-side and the freezer section just doesn't seem adequate, so narrow. Otherwise, the fridge section is changeable and does seem to make sense. I think the type with the chest freezers are smarter and can't help but think one of those would have been chosen if one had fit correctly.
