(((Blessed))) I'm glad to hear your DH oxygen is improving. Remember to take care of you!
I need to have a day with sunshine. My mood seems to be tied to how bright the sun is shining.
DS16 and GF are safely home. I am in the process of purchasing XBox game pass for the teens to use. A 3 month pass comes out to be about 43 cents a day. That seems to be cheap entertainment they can enjoy until summer weather arrives.

So sorry to hear about the destruction near you, LadyM.
lucylee, we saw some photo coverage of areas after the storms (tornados?).
blessed, his oxygen level being up again is great news. For him to look well - even better news. Relieved for you.
I made coleslaw this afternoon/evening. The head of cabbage was so dense and the weight surprising. Felt awkward working with it, but then awkward working with the food processor, too, so it's not all the fault of the weight/size. Partly my dexterity.
I've gotten all the ingredients for an Instant Pot Kitchery (kitchari - Indian "mixture") to make tomorrow. Red lentils, variety rices, sweet potatoes, onion. First step to make this is to clear the kitchen counters well tonight, lol. Not just for cutting up veggies, but for making room for the IP near enough to an outlet in a small kitchen! It's one of the small appliances we often kept out at the other house, but have to store in the lower cabinets here.

Lady M, I don't know if you've tried using a daylight light box for 20 minutes or so first thing in the mornings before you get up? I really struggle with the short dark days of winter (despite living in the SW of the UK we are actually nearly as far north on the globe as Alaska, so our days are *very* short in winter!) and even early spring can still be grey and overcast. We also get a lot of rainy days! This winter I started using it every morning from about October and I have really noticed a huge positive difference in my energy levels. Plus, another bonus is an extra 20 minutes or so in my warm cosy bed each morning without worrying about being thought "lazy".Lady Maverick wrote: Sat Mar 15, 2025 8:31 pm I need to have a day with sunshine.
