Morning Twins…

I’ve been up since sunrise. Drank my coffee, watched my Sunday show, did my morning routines and picked up my footprints

Also stripped and changed and remade my bed. Sheets are being laundered. Meanwhile got on the floor while listening to Trisha Yearwood and did my morning back exercises.

Winds still blowing so not sure if I will uncover my sunnies. It’s overcast. Don’t know whether it will rain today or not.

My office really needs my attention and depending on the weather hope to get back to my side garden… we shall see.

Waving to y’all… hope the winds and weather have been kind to y’all

Good morn' gals!
I woke up by 6:00 to the sound of rain.
Yea for spring flowers and it's not snow!
Happy to say I've made a hot pad this weekend!
So that goal is met.
Working on some new goals now for the bags and I can do more today.
If I do two a day I'll have them seamed up. Gotta luv that. Continuing with my sewing retreat.
Made two bags.

Thinking on gardening and what I did differently as deer were eating my tomato blooms on my deck!
So I got produce at a local fruit and veg. stand.
I also rotate washable silk flower arrangements inside b/c the wind kept because the wind was blowing them over,
even with rocks in the base of the containers.
Table clothes did not work either so they are now bags! LOL!
Sheets need attn. so I can do those while I'm in the sewing zone as the washer is in that room too!
Or I can wait and rest today.
qt x
journal x
coffee & bfast x
-----
Cooked & ate lunch yum!
Walked ddoggo wind came up it was nice and calm & sunny when we left but did not get rained on
so that is good more rain on the way I see.

Beef stew is cooking on the stove.

Dishes are soaking in the sink waiting to go into the dishwasher, which is now empty and waiting. I have decided that I will start this as day one of having a go at trying to make this a daily habit. There are a couple of pots and pans from last night to do.

Cats have been outside. I gave them all catnip because it's Sunday.

laundry is as done as it's going to get. Bed sheets were done yesterday. A load of laundry was done on Friday night. Not enough in the washer to do a load.

Good Morning!

My day started well after a great night sleep. I woke up one time to check cameras to verify DS16 made it back home after taking GF home. She had a midnight curfew, and he was home by 12:20am. Once teens were safely in their bed then I had no problem easily falling back to sleep.

DH and I attended early church. It is an indescribable pleasure and joyful experience to be with these lifelong friends and worship together. I treasure every moment of it.

Chicken Nuggets is what is happening for lunch here. It has become a Sunday tradition because it is a teen favorite and can be cooked quickly in the air fryer. By the time the first batch of nuggets are eaten, then the second batch is coming out of the oven. easy peasy.

I've done some pots and pans. The dishwasher is going. Stew is simmering. Dh has gone for a nap. I'm going to take the next John Sandford book and join him.

Good morning to Nancy and RR! We did not have much of a stormy period last night, thankfully. Dh had walked the dog then suggested that some neighborhood friends come over for a drink (or two) and we put out cheese and charcuterie stuff and made a light meal of it with them. We were on the porch until the rain started in but came inside. Stormy period was short and the predicted later storms - after bedtime - did not materialize.

Today we have a birthday get together to attend, and then we'll be dropping off our meal. I have challah underway to go with it - not sure challah is the best fit to go with a beef/barley soup but it's excellent and easy.

---------------------

Much later, bread is done, we're leaving soon for birthday...

hello late start here as well. dh is stable again which is a blessing! He is going stir crazy just sitting in the hospital. dd is with him now.
Mom is feeling lazy daisy and is not getting dressed yet. I don't mind because it is snowing here. one day a week is not a problem. I have luxury living (English program on gardens on for her)
dd older is with dh - she has been with him since 9 am (she went to yoga earlier). it's almost 1:00 and I am hoping she goes home and gives herself the rest of the day free - She has gone every morning before work.

hello all.

hello d twins, d cathy, d lady, d Nancy, d rose, dear everyone!

waving
it is always a joy to be here with you!

after noon everyone!

trying to get back into posting here but realistically probably will only happen on weekends or days off.

this morning did my walking, answered emails and did my French lesson. then off to church. since church i have cleaned bathroom, swept and mopped floors, took out garbage, made meatloaf and mashed potatoes and loaded dishwasher. gift of a free afternoon and evening as the seniors church service at the nursing homes (which I help organize) was cancelled. beautiful sunny day and snow is disappearing.

oldest gets back to work tomorrow thankfully as he was laid off this winter. he lives in the house i bought and mortgaged while I live in a two bedroom apartment with youngest son. he struggled to pay mortgage while off and in turn I struggled to pay bills
