Just checking in to say that I am taking a slow day.

LadyM… it’s always good to have a. “ take it easy day”.

I have just gotten back from the grocery store so my lists of thing to do is finished, plus I already have 11K steps. Think I’ll read for a while.

Waving to KittyKatt, Nancy, bw2, Cathy, RR and Harriet!

I'm on track - did all on that list and more. Table is set, challah is done. Don't know when dh and guest will be back. Dh's coworker who is coming over later called to check in with dh, he left his phone here so I'm monitoring it.

I need to cut up and get fruit in a bowl as an addition to dessert for the two diabetics.

------------------
and I left this sitting, dh and guest home, co worker here, they are on screened porch enjoying the day. Dog is walked.

I got up and did both litter boxes as soon as I hit "submit" on my last post.

Before I left for knitting, I told dh I would love it if he did whatever dishes needed doing. There were very few, just a colander and some large utensils. When I got home they were done.

So nice to walk into a home that smelled so good! No garbage making it smell and supper had been simmering for hours. A large pot of chili with LOTS of spice and pepper. A small pot with very little spice and not much pepper for me. I will put most of the mushrooms from my chili into the big pot as I come across them. I should have waited to add the mushrooms after I put my chili aside. OOPS!
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Hello, friends. I have awakened from a 2-hour nap so necessary that I realized I was sleeping through hammering in my home but kept sleeping.

This morning, I did a short workout before dd26 arrived.

We had a wide-eyed morning of rapid-fire incoming info until noon, all very social. As I had predicted, we learned about even more appts upcoming.

Walk, walk, walking around the big facility. After procedures they insist on wheelchairs, of course, but none of these appts were that.

Our break came early, so we ate at 10:30 instead of waiting any longer. Dd said our lunch was a good counseling session for us both, quite true.

After the last appt we came straight home so that she could head to work for a half day.

After awakening, I had a couple bites to eat before the workmen needed to talk to us, and that's still going on with HRH.

OK, finally finished with that and went outside to take photos of the new unit, etc. It is not so tall, a slightly smaller footprint, very quiet.
