(((((Group Hugs)))) so many are dealing with challenging moments and events. Thank you for sharing your life here in the SHE village. Please let us know if you need focused support or need to chat.
My morning has been mostly smooth.
** DD13 to public school
** DS16 homeschool
** AM walk
** Personal AM care including washing hair
** Beat the garbage truck game played successfully.
** Couple of trips to the garden.
** Kitchen stuff is happening
** Garage prepared for water softener maintenance (they are here now)

LadyM, good for you beating the garbage truck this a.m.! I did so as well, but got it out while cooking last night.
Ta da, finished a.m. routine but leaving ddog on bed for comfort for her.
At :15 after I'll work 45 minutes to TOTH, anyone want to come with me? Tuesday used to be my traditional desk day so it's fitting.

Re: Tuesday TA DA Tally PWYC
Taking a break.
The water softener/RO yearly maintenance is almost done. I just have to empty the RO tank (turn faucet on) two more times. It takes the tank about an hour to fill so I will do it at 1pm and 2pm.
Since I needed to be handy to the tech fellas working, I spent a couple productive hours in the kitchen preparing ingredients. Fish, baked potatoes, Spanish rice, HB eggs, squash, and spaghetti are done. Everything has been packaged and in the refrigeror except for the spaghetti. I'll do that after the guys finish eating lunch. The chicken and hamburger meat are still thawing so I will cook them tomorrow.

Re: Tuesday TA DA Tally PWYC
(((RR & Sweetie))) You are such a good team.
I messed up again with DH yesterday. I knew he was mentally struggling yesterday and thought I was doing a good job of monitoring him. Nope. I put a chair in the shade so DH could watch the fellas working to put a new shop door in. This did two things - it kept DH from getting in their way while he could still watch their progress and visit with them. Once I had DH situated, I went to the back yard to teach DD13 how to use the lawn mower. DS16 called me on the phone to say "Do you know that Papa is upstairs in the shop and using a pulley to lower wood to the ground?" EEEEK! I took off running toward the shop. Thankfully DH wasn't hurt. I got DH down and asked if he would mind watching DD13 mow. That job gave DH a purpose and distracted him from the shop happenings. It is a strange situation. DH sometimes needs to be closely watch like we do for a 2 year old. But he is an adult and no one wants to be treated as if they are 2. DH thrives on respect and kindness so that is what I strive for. It is a weird balance.

Re: Tuesday TA DA Tally PWYC
Oy vey. Spent most of that time trying to make QB (QuickBooks) do what I want. First I couldn't remember how and now it wants something else from me - and I can't figure it out, even with google consult.
Interrupted twice along the way for guy from yard company - came to put on the backflow device for the sprinkler system, and second time to tell me it has a crack and needs a repair. He says that some other company would do it more cheaply than his company would. Then he said he would do it himself if our sprinkler co couldn't do it - I should have slipped him a little cash and just asked him to do it but wasn't quick enough on my feet.
I set alarm for two, but at ten till I thought that I had started at 1 p.m. and should have stopped at 1:45, so I stopped then. I need to eat something anyway. Oy vey.
So I'll eat something and get restarted. So far what I need to do is a bust.
And now a phone call about our freezer repair. We were going ahead with the expensive repair and icemaker started working again. I get some of my deposit back.

Re: Tuesday TA DA Tally PWYC
Ta da! Reconciled the HOA account for end of Feb
Ta da! entered and printed two HOA checks, one to drop into a neighborhood mailbox, one to mail tomorrow.
Things are moving slowly.
----
more, I posted above when dd called. I talked to her for 30 minutes. Listened a lot. While talking to her I sorted a bunch of HOA papers accumulated since 1 January.
For a ta da Tuesday today hasn't felt productive. I've spent several hours on HOA biz and am not done.
Next up:
walk ddog. While walking, put HOA ck in mailbox for guy who fixed the toilet.
bundle HOA papers for Jan-Feb and file
Record March transactions - bring up to date
email other board members re: tree people yesterday
email lender re: pd HOA dues for a refinancing
look again at HOA email and go to Amazon to order replacement water fountain. I will reimburse myself in April. Being delivered to home of guy who is handy who believes he can install it. (I need to buy him whiskey....)
How can an HOA with 70+ members take this much work?

Re: Tuesday TA DA Tally PWYC
As soon as we ate supper, I stayed on my feet and took out garbage from the 2 garbage cans and dealt with the litter boxes. Snow is starting and it's windy. It feels colder than it is. Dishwasher got emptied and refilled.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Nancy, that's a meaningful milestone. It's good you did something to mark it.
Stickers - yes, they are great in journals, planners, etc. and often they cover up as well as they decorate. I'm having trouble lately finding cheery ones. Current catalog used to have a lot to choose from but have dwindled. There are some cheap ones on ARiver that look good until you discover they are super shiny or very small.
Thinking of LadyM's dh and Ramblin's sweetie, all best wishes.
