At the hospital, getting all the stuff done, you know — someone gets medical history, someone gets a heart monitor started, someone takes blood… it’s busy for awhile.
But she says I do not have to spend the night. So I’ll get the kids, bring them over with me for awhile tomorrow, and maybe go to the wedding dinner party.

LM when I was in counseling my counselor had me go back in my journal for the week
and circle the feelings words.
So we had a break in the rain and the sun at least tried to come out.
s2s happened

Re: Conga Line Friday PWYC
Not a lot to show for myself today. I spent a couple of hours decorating masks with markers. I feel better about wearing them when they look more interesting. In the afternoon I buckled down to tackle a big bookkeeping problem and despite spending a couple of hours on it and trying a couple of ideas, I have not figured out how to solve it. I'd like to finally update all our investments in Quicken but I'm 5 years behind on this project. I was looking for a way to download the info from our broker but it appears we can't. I can't think through a solution that doesn't involve days and days of data entry.
We let ds know that dh has covid. I am allowed to go to dgd16's birthday dinner tomorrow night assuming I have no symptoms. He'll stay home. I feel bad for him but then again he went to a conference in Miami and interacted with people all the time. He doesn't mask on a plane either. Both times he's had covid it started during a conference. When we were in Daytona Beach, we didn't interact with others indoors except at restaurants and we ate so early we were usually the only people there. And I masked on the plane.
Twins: dh first felt ill on Monday (not sure when in the day.) Tuesday he complained about a headache, sore throat from the a/c, and achy. He went to bed at 9 and I told him to take ibuprofin to help avoid the aches. Wednesday he let me know he had a fever and was heading to bed at 4:30 in the afternoon. He woke up at 10 and the fever had broken. When he woke up Thursday morning he felt fine.
He seems completely fine now. He did his regular exercise routine including an hour on the bike. We went for a walk in the afternoon (it also meant we could talk without masks on.) He's puttering around now. We had dinner in the same room but facing the tv and 6' from each other. The patio door is open a bit and the air filter is on. As soon as we ate, we put our masks back on and kept watching shows but both on the couch (but not snuggling.)
I'm tired so will start off to bed now. I'm sure I'll get distracted at least 5 times before I get there, so lights out won't be insanely early.

Finally home. She’s doing okay and ddil knows the charge nurse and the nurse who will be working dmom’s hall tonight, so that’s good.
Oh my goodness I am tired.
