Started eggs to boil for later.
Working on a plan for my Sun. dinner and a meal ahead cooking ideas for the next week or so.
Did some journaling neighbors had a row adult kids are suppose to get their stuff out of there
and it's a fight grow up is heard a lot! LOL! Sigh ....
I got dressed.

Laura L. I had a friend that lost her hubby he had that dementia I looked on Yt and
learned some from a nurse on there helped me to talk with her. It was not long after I'd lost my LH
[late hubby] to cancer. He had arthritis and in a lot of pain was cranky and hard to get along with.
It was quite a relief after he passed.

Learned in Jan. pandemic year he had it 6 weeks later he was gone.
So my journey had been real.

I fixed a toilet last night the clip came loose and I put it back on.
It took me a while to understand to look at it when it was not refilling.
An easy fix thank goodness.
I had to learn how to fertilize the grass with some coaching from my son who
does that for a living I learned the stuff was here and so many other things.

Kitchen stuff is done.

DD13 and I have been walking at the local park trail in the evenings. She is experiencing pain while walking so I am encouraging her to get shoes designed for walking. She currently wears flats with zero support, but predictably DD13 is against the idea because she doesn't like change.
I have proposed to the teens that they could pick a time to go shoe shopping together (including friends). I will send a credit card and they can make shoe shopping into a fun outing that includes eating out. DS16 schedule is full so it won't happen today. DS16 pointed out that IRL stores don't stock his shoe size. I told DS16 he might find shoe designs that he likes, and we could purchase his size online. Neither teen is thrilled with my let's go shoe shopping idea. I'm putting a pin in the idea and not giving up on it.

DH has decided since he can't drive the zero-turn mower, then he will push mow the yard. He has been trying to get our two gas powered push mowers to start for the past couple of hours. He came in the house frustrated that he couldn't make progress. I suggested that battery powered push mowers are a super easy option. I use one to mow the yard around the garden because all that is required is push a button and they start. Long story short.....I ordered a battery lawn mower for DH to use. It will be here Tuesday and hopefully give DH many hours of pleasure while being a safe alternative. I encouraged DH to put the two gas push mowers out by the road with a free sign on them. I am 99% sure there isn't anything wrong with them but they are beyond DH abilities to use. I don't want them here reminding DH of that fact. Out with gas powered.....in with battery operated. Problem solved.

We have walked.
I have a plan for lunch but not hungry yet so that can wait.
Did a round of weeding on the driveway.
Had lunch

It's luvley outside here today clouds have given way to sunshine now.
Did another round of weeding out front and that part is done now yea!
Looks way better now too.

I enjoyed a pre made meal I had froze head for my dinner.
I mowed the back yard today yea! 10K steps today.

Dh and I both napped. The men's curling tournament is starting in less than 10 minutes. (IF dh got the time right. That is one of his memory problems that I am dealing with.)

Lauralind, if you are asking her the general question as nurses often do, "do you have pain", is it that she can't name the painful area? If you know an area where you suspect pain, could you gently touch it, like touching a knee and asking, "does your knee feel better today". And then watch the reaction as well as listen.

Thinking of ((each one who has illness in their families)) today.

Last evening I wanted to post but was having issues with reaction to meds. I think that after my nap (of course Twins' was right), when I awakened to HRH explaining that now he would have to head to bed to get a good night sleep for driving, I began to pout. Loss of a day, no time with him.

I had a post but before this morning early i reread it and it wasn't very pleasant, lol, so just deleted, echoed LadyM and quit, headed out.

So let's forget yesterday. Today was sleepy so thank goodness for my dear driver, lol. He got takeout on the way home but I get sickish thinking of eating. Napped and later had a bowl of cereal. He has ordered groceries trying to tempt me, so time to go try to smile at the kitchen counters, lol.

Free until Monday, when it will be raining, but it's okay. I hate it for him, but he will drop me off under canopy I'm sure. Can't get him to do any differently.

I'm home finally from the matinee show and supper at a bar nearby. Interesting place - lots of young people. It's former gas station remodeled a bit with a large outside patio - much more room outside than in, and it was quieter too. Lots of dogs on patio but a bit cool too.

I need to start a last load of laundry. A lot of the things I "needed" to do didn't happen today, but that's okay. Can gas the car in the a.m., pollen is so bad that the car will be dirty again quickly, and perhaps I'll clean cpap in a.m. before I go. I mostly need to get packed and I'm awful about overthinking what I need.
