I noticed that I was capturing my to-do's and reminders using pen and paper this morning. That is a big clue to me that I am struggling to keep up. I revert to using pen/paper when feeling overwhelmed. It will be okay but just something to realize and respond to appropriately.

DD13 is at school. She asked to download a note taking app called TwiNote. I need to check into that to make sure it is a safe app for her to use. Does anyone use it?

DS16 homeschool lessons are prepared and in progress.

I just reminded DH that we will be leaving in 30 minutes. He asked....Where are we going? ***sigh*** We are going to a doctor visit to get test results & discuss his short term memory loss.

We have 3 stops to make this morning
** Dr appt
** Braums for cottage cheese and chocolate milk
** Vote for our local town council election

Thank you for starting us off today. I thought I posted yesterday, but I guess I was too busy managing a minor crisis.

Our dryer stopped working over the weekend. I went to turn it on and there was no power. I checked the fuse box right away. It had not flipped off. The plug was all the way into the wall. Yesterday I made a few calls and we had someone come over last night to check things out. The dryer is almost 10 years old. The "board" was the issue. This morning I got a call that a new board has been found for just over $300. Altogether it should only be $400 to fix the problem, which is less expensive than buying a new machine. Between yesterday and today numerous phone calls were dealt with, and dh was no help. He didn't even get off the couch when the repair person came other to just get up long enough to go introduce himself at the back door and then he sat on the couch and went back to playing games.

This morning dh had an appt for an echo at the local hospital I stayed home and had almost 2 hours of peace and quiet. (No TV!!) Now he's home and the TV is on. Dh has an appointment next Tuesday with the cardiologist to discuss the results of the echo.

So far today I have swept the kitchen and I have enough to make a new cat. I just swept a few days ago. I also mopped between the bed and the toilet.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Yay Twins… have a great time!

I spent 5 hours putting together some of my DAR stuff. Didn’t get to bed till after 1.

Yesterday I found my energy. Cleaned the lanai a spit things away in their homes. Cut and trimmed too many plants and trees to mention. Watered and cared for my garden. Took all the plastic and bungee cords off of my sunnies pots, cleaned them and put them away for next year.

Sweetie and I have errands to run as soon as he finishes his P&J sandwich so we’ll be gone most of the day

LadyM… I am much faster with paper and pen and keep a very small notebook by my couch. I list things that need to be done and refer to it during the day.

Beware… it’s April Fool’s Day… no joke 🤣

Happy one-quarter-mark of the year, everyone.

blessed, it's so good to see you and hear that you and dh are happy with the dr.

Babying my tummy today. The new drink is okay-tasting when chilled. Labeled as a medical food. I am starting with one-half quantity. Hope it does what it brags.

The workmen have sent a photo from under our house, very neat and crisp looking. They are still working - I think this job may have taken longer than they planned.

After they are gone, I should encourage HRH to get trash and recyclables out for pickup tomorrow morning.

I have gotten trash can back from the curb.
Put stuff I dead headed in it to go out next time they come by.
Pruned some lower lilac limbs so it would be bushier next year.

Fetched mail.
Did set up my bujo for this month.
Journaling happened.
Set up for next one is in process.
I am trying to get going on next book notes system;
got bogged down trying to use other pages first...
that involved more journaling. No hurry on the speed of this I suppose.

Fog has disappeared and it's sunny out now yea! 8-)

DH 4 test results were all good. This is great news.....even though we still don't have a clue why he is losing his short term memory. I asked for a referral to neuro. I am not giving up the search.

All errands were accomplished plus a couple extra.

Having pen/paper next to me is showing what I already knew but sometimes forget. Why can't I get my thoughts together? I decided to jot down the time when I was asked a question, received a phone call, needed to stop and go check on DH, etc.

About every 5 to 8 minutes I am responding to a need. I barely get it handled, sit back down to work and then need to stop again. It gives me comfort to know that there is a reason why I am not able to focus well today.
