I did. Ceiling is done for now. I'll look later and see if one coat did it. Just thought though if I start from the floor up I can second coat the ceiling and then do the lower color first. If I can get one coat on. Second coat after work and maybe the other color Wednesday.

I guess we are kinda creative with color. What color green is her bed trissie? I've done green and navy. Green and grey. Even a purple if you pick the right shade. Lol. Green and white will beautiful and fresh. Amazing what a can of paint can do.

Anyway now I have half hour for my hair to dry and get otd to church.

I think bold/multi colored walls are more of an american (as in USA and Canada) thing, laurlind, here it's neutrals, pastels and usually just white. Plenty of ways to bring color to a room that allow easy replacement, like throws and curtains! Quite frankly, the idea of a purple wall gives me shivers, and not the good kind!

and the wall will be a light mint complementing it.

I usually am in my room ready for bed early between 8 and 9 this time of year and earlier in the winter because I get cold once the sun goes down. I don’t go to sleep though…. Hello, everyone!

Trissie, the mint sounds a lovely combination with the bed. Over here in the UK it's usually pastels too, although some people go for a
one "feature" wall of a strong, contrasting colour. I nearly been forgot, today's lunch menu was roast chicken, roast potatoes, roasted carrots and peppers, gravy, purple sprouting broccoli and peas, followed by chocolate mousse and cream.

I'm glad you were able to celebrate your birthday, FFB.

Thinking of Gma today, and hoping she was able to say all she needed to at the meeting after church.

We had a good service this morning, and afterwards DF E was in fine form when I visited her for coffee. As well as cooking lunch, I've folded and PA laundry, and had some time in my garden, when I was finally released from lap duty by Freddie and Matilda! I've also had an hour on the photos this evening. I'm now up to 2024.

Make list of outstanding jobs on the house and send to Handyman A. DF PM, who has been mentoring him through some difficult turns his life has taken, thinks he may be ready to start some jobs again. (If he doesn't reply in a reasonable time, or doesn't want to do anything, then I'll look for someone else, but I would prefer not to do that). Off the top of my head, clean gutters and the swan neck on the downpipes where "stuff" tends to accumulate, clean cladding back and front and downpipes, and short return wall as well. Replace the bit of mortar that's fallen out of the edge of the roof (I think its called the verge?) , fix dripping kitchen tap ( new washer?), sort out cabinet that wobbles, fix garage guttering that's loose at one end and bending down. More as I think of them? ( Waiting for a reply)

We don't really cook on Sundays, trissie. We'll have bread, Dutch cheese, a rotisserie chicken, and some tomato soup. We have frozen pizzas as well and some oranges as well. We don't do strong wall colors either. Putting yellow-white on our walls was a huge step of faith for dh. I like that bed!

WTG starting the painting, Lauralind. Paint is starting to peel in some spots in our house. I've told dh we need to look into getting the walls painted again. It's such a huge hassle though.

I'm home from a jog (my own private very slow 5K) and WF and everything is put away. The Cs should be here in about an hour. I think I'm getting everything ready? I doubt dh will come home to help.

There's lots of both styles here between neutrals and a feature wall. Some people are very much neutral with a white or grey shade. I guess we work in paint sales . I'm not a paint expert but I had no trouble going in and using the shsker and mixing my colors. Dh tells me it's just paint. If you don't like it we just do it again lol.

Bonus. By the time I'm done I will have Decluttered 4 or 5 extra paint cans.

I think I'm going to have a rest for a bit and then see if I can start on the walls. At least if I get one coat tonight. One after work both days and maybe one more Wednesday. I should be good. But see how I feel after work.

You would have probably been quite shocked with the colors in dd original room when we built. Purple was a part. Teal. A bright lime green and some white. It was a bit bold. A result of dh storyboarding. Placing colors in perportion.

Rest and some easy routine. A coat on half the walls. Maybe a Casper walk...
