Just popping in to say I LOVE that bed, Trissie!
My walls are all off-white. I was afraid to commit to any color. I do have some wallpaper, and I know it may not be in fashion so much now, but I still like it.

It's embarrassing to say nothing in my house has been changed since we built in 1985. That is really embarrassing. I have hardwood in the den/dining area, and vinyl in the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. The carpet in the bedrooms REALLY needs replacing... but as someone said, painting is such a hassle, and replacing flooring is too. DH was NEVER in the mood to take on things like that, and right now, I just don't feel up to it, even if $ were no issue. After the ceiling repair and the bathroom floor repair, I'm holding off for a while on any other improvements right now.
Tomorrow is another day.

Last ci here.
Lauralind, our most colorful room has been dd26's. She painted her own room a couple times. Once it was light blue and another time it was light purple. Then once when I was out of town for a weekend, she painted large dark purple paw prints meandering around her room near the ceiling. I was shocked when I came home. Apparently, she had asked dh for permission. She was an extremely busy child and always had her own projects going on at home. She also painted her dresser 3 different times. At one point, it was fire engine red with flowered knobs. She also painted her ceiling fan a couple times, putting various designs on it. It was a good outlet for her creativity, and dh helped her so she did things correctly.

I think your dd and mine are similar helian. I have to think to count how many times dd wanted her room painted. After able 15 or so she did it a couple of times herself. Now that they own their house she painted the whole upstairs. And now she wants to do it again. She did a lot of the work renovating her bathroom. Except the plumbing and wiring and big stuff.

I on the other hand... my burnout energy level got the best of me today. A nap and then Casper was a royal pain on the walk. The ceiling is done but it was after supper when I was ready to start. Nope not any farther yet.

Oh well. I managed to wash a few pots at least.
