Hi all. Most of you are probably done for the day. I'm home from work. Better day today. Productive inventory day. My head was a bit better. So I sat and rested a bit and made myself paint. Top color is done. Tomorrow I will tape the center line and then do the darker color. It ended up being a really soft mid range sky blue that I could never figure out a name for.

Now I need to tidy up my laundry sink and clean up my paint. So I'm ready to do the other color. Help ds with the rest of supper. That will do for tonight.

Do you think my body will let my sleep in tomorrow? Paint. Probably go check on mom and dad. And just general day off?

Today's tada list

Clean up laundry sink
Clean brush and roller and such
Make some sort of stir fry to go with ds chicken

Finish tidying kitchen
Eat and clean up supper
Work on crochet

Work
Paint second coat
Phone call from sister

beautiful cake, trissie, and beautiful rose too.
I'm happy that Jude says you can keep the dress, kittykatt! yaay and amazing to have cleared out your inbox!
smiles, bama, and helian, interesting about the wild turkeys. One came
hi peaches, you certainly keep at it!
L.ann, that is such good news about dd. People often dont understand how important Medicare is for disabled, and SS disability income also. It's definitely fraud and abuse! In fact, it is often very difficult to obtain.
laurlind, you have been planning to paint for so long, I'm glad you are accomplishing it. Do you like the new look?

---

this is my third time at the computer today. Never did get the first 2 x sent!
Yesterday I go news about my sore foot. Something called "stress reaction" of the bone. It is a condition that precedes stress fracture. Treatment is non weight bearing (use crutches and knee scooter) for at least 4 weeks. (they are telling me expect 6, I'm trying to think positive)

Using crutches is exhausting. And it requires new thinking about walking/ moving. And it makes me even more wish I had my house decluttered.
Good news is that dbro is coming on Tuesday.
Other good news is that my one student who asked me to edit her graduate paper dropped ehr paper off today, so I have something intellectually stimulating to do, besides the crocheting, and time wasting computer games that occupy my time.

I never commented on the cake. Trissie you are an amazing baker and decorator. Hope you had a great birthday party. I think a late event of some kind.

Lann I am so glad dds numbers are improving. What a relief for you. A lot of driving though.

Gma that's a great use of time off your foot. I used crutches for a couple days when I sprained my ankle. Exhaust for sure. I hope it helps.

When do you move your mom helian?

I do like the color Gma. I think it will be even better with both. Ds needs a cozy relaxing room so he can rest. Gotta give him his dark curtains back he's been waking up by 7 or sometimes before. Too light outdoors.

I think I'm done for the day. Can pick up my crochet and it will put me to sleep in a bit.

laurlind, sleep well, crocheting is a good relaxing pre-bed activity!
I just started reading my student's graduate paper, for editing. Yes, it needs some work.

I have several notebooks - I'm going to start recording my activity and pain levels, so I can follow and evaluate my progress.
