Saturday PWYC
First of all, (((LucyLee))). We all love you and support you on your journey through the first year without "Sheldon" AKA Mr. LucyLee. I usually read your middle of the night posts before I get into the rest of my day. You have really and truly learned so many things in the past 52 weeks and I know you will continue to do a good job dealing with things going forward.

Hi. I went to bed before 9. Here I am in the middle of the night. I've been scrolling on FBook and now I'm yawning, so I'm going back to bed. LucyLee you have been on my mind.

Cathy… well said … thinking of Lucylee today as well.

Re: Saturday PWYC
Yes, meant to say so yesterday to Lucylee and never came back through. I remember my shock when I read her news. Thinking of her today and this weekend.
I have a less important anniversary coming up. It was 14 April when I broke my wrist in a fall in Amsterdam and came home the next day. First surgery was two days later. I'm mostly healed. My wrist mobility there isn't what it was; I can't put my that hand flat on the floor to support myself but I'm getting strength back. I'm wary of going down most stairs now.
Yesterday I did have genealogy time and napped with the ddog before we went to the baby naming and out to dinner with the family after. Restaurant was noisy and I had difficulty hearing the couple across the table from us. It was Z's uncle C and wife. For a year, after Z went to college when ds was a senior in HS, ds baby sat for their sons occasionally. We know all Z's family pretty well. His mom was my best friend for a few years, estranged because she had an affair (as the school librarian, with the principal, when her dh was a teacher/coach at the high school, when ds went to that school!). Z's father is remarried and 2nd wife is wonderful. So have known that family close to 32 years because I think we met when Z and my kids were nine months old. Rabbi last night referenced Z and my ds causing trouble in the sanctuary.
Today is busy. We will probably go to the Arts Festival today. Missed the preview party last night which we usually attend as a patron. Perhaps will need to put the brakes on dh purchasing something that I don't care for - our taste in art has diverged. I'm into serene landscapes while his taste is more modern. But if we love something we can always find another place to display art.
Tonight is Passover with friends V and J and another couple. We've known all since all of our kids were young together. My assignment is horseradish, matzah, macaroons, and boiled eggs. We have Costco boiled eggs that I'm using. Ds is going to Z's mother's Seder.

Re: Saturday PWYC
((((LucyLee))) Cathy said it so well. It is a bittersweet day. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I had another night of getting up with a teenager. I was up around 1am with DS16 changing to different bed and giving him OTC pain meds. He over did lifting heavy objects yesterday at work and his back was complaining. Sam goes where DS16 is which upset Micro so there was dog barking happening in the middle of the night.
Bowling is on the teen activity card today. I am sending DD13 with DS16 and GF to the city for bowling and then going out to eat. GF has volunteered to teach DD13 how to select a ball, hold it, keep score and other basics of bowling. Part of me wants to join in as a family activity but I know DD13 would stick to my side if I did. I feel like a Momma bird gently pushing baby bird to learn how to fly. I think it would benefit DD13 to experience activities with other teens.
The goldfish in the garden experiment are having a high loss rate. One fish died on the way home from pet store. Another fish died during the night. That is a 20% loss. Hopefully the rest of the fish will survive and thrive.

Re: Saturday PWYC
LucyL. thinking of you.
I have been fighting this cold for what feels like a week nope just since Mon. I'm having more energy that yesterday.
Glad to say I took a day off a sabbath day to rest recoup & regroup I needed it.
Got to the half was point in a book I"m reading.
Made up a new recipe to cook in the microwave with egg chopped precooked chicken & cheese
with some cheese & Ritz crackers for dinner.
Today made ahead pizza.
Shrimp later maybe Sun.
So glad to read your posts thanks for checking in!
I need to s2s today.
One other thing knee is better after I steeped in a low spot on grass at a craft thing last Fri.
