Re: Palm Sunday/Passover PWYC
Hi bw2, glad to see you here! And Joan, thanks for posting with us. A nap when I'm feeling cold is just the thing to rest and warm up and feels so good.
We were at the river all afternoon with dfriends. A, the dh, purchased a new, bigger boat and today was the day to get his new boat lift off the trailer to the boat dock. He (with dh in his boat and another) were to tow it from boat ramp to the dock, but it very unfortunately capsized when it floated off the trailer and went turtle. The individual was was helping was on the lift helping went into the water. After a very long afternoon (V and I hung out on their deck, she couldn't bear to watch) they got it off the shallow bottom, upright, floated, and towed it to the dock finally. It sure was scary when it turned over and sank and the dude went into the water.
Early on V and I walked around the condo property and she scattered wildflower seeds. We got a little walk and lots of sunshine. Sunny, nice afternoon on the deck and very enjoyable except for the worries.
Tomorrow I only have my workout and dh is home for dinner. This weekend has been jam-packed with social occasions and I'm pretty done with people right now. We were planning to leave earlier when A came and needed dh to come with him on the boat. I'm looking forward to getting in some time upstairs at my research desk tomorrow.

Did anyone watch the golf from Augusta today? Wow!
I wiped off the patio table today and I also BBQed supper. Steak, potatoes wrapped in foil, asparagus wrapped in foil and some chopped onion wrapped in foil.
Blessed they didn't build a room, they took out the couch, coffee table and easy chair, and put in a bed and put a door on the room to make it a bedroom. There was also a TV. Actually now that I think about it, there was a fireplace that got used very rarely as well. There was also sliding glass doors that led outside and they provided an awesome view.
I need to go load the dishwasher.

Re: Palm Sunday/Passover PWYC
I went out on the deck to take in some sunshine and watched the grass grow instead of yard work or mowing.
Had dinner.
Old burners and drip pans are out of the stove.
Cleaned some on the old stove top and wiped out the oven.
Moved the step stool out of the way.
Moved the fan off the side counter and put away the small crock pot.
Finished up some more on the kitchen zone the felt good even if it was not a fun job.

Re: Palm Sunday/Passover PWYC
I had a good day as well. Tired now and I'm sitting here typing with my big ole samoyed beside me.
Church was good this morning. Made lunch. Break for a bit. Clean up the kitchen a bit and just what I figured when inviting mom and dad for supper they come early. Just after 3. We grilled supper. Roasted chicken and foil pack potatoes. When they left we moved ds stuff into his new room . Now I can make progress with the rest of my cleaning and decluttering. Downsizing from the big kids moving out. Feels good cause this moving project is taking half the year.
I have to finish reorganizing dd room. Guest room for when they come. Which is for Easter next week. But that is good enough for tonight.
