I didn't get to computer yesterday.

(((blessed's dear mother))) gentle hugs. Oh, blessed, I'm so sorry. What a joy for you to hear her talking. Relief.

LadyM, this product worked best for me for a blocked salivary gland because it was closest I could find to old-fashioned sourness of the old lemon drops we remember. Sandy surface keeps from sticking to each other in bag, then becomes smooth.

Have had both setbacks and encouraging moments here. Scan results optimistic, making HRH happy. I no longer look at any results. He looks and shows me or I wait for dr. Side effects cause more side effects. It's complicated. Or, "it's a long story". lol

LadyM, with me right now it's Andy Griffith and just watched Opie complain about his father saying "it's a long story" when he decided not to talk about something. lol

Ddolder and her early-teen came by yesterday. They had found a keepsake from my paternal grandmother. Made me smile. Also brought me a collection of stickers that had been left behind in my move here. Fun to see that I will have these for planner or on a card. There is a rabbit with a smile, so that goes in soon.

I have got to find a way to express here which grand this dear one is. I used to call him little-britches, encouraged by Emptynester who was amused that I said he was getting too big for his little britches when he was small. Since some have now taken to calling him "Hoss" , you can see why this is not working any more. He will be the tallest and biggest of her boys, we think.

After I took the rice pudding out of the oven, I had to sample it. Within an hour, dh and I had eaten almost half of it. Then we both laid down to read. I fell asleep. I don't know if dh did. Right now he is outside talking to somebody.

When I woke up, I tried the rice pudding again. It was better when it was a bit warmer. I added a pinch of nutmeg along with the cinnamon. It was enough so you knew there was nutmeg, but not too much. I will add that to the written recipe.

It has remained overcast here today, but no snow so far. Before my nap I cleaned the inside of a few windows and polished a few mirrors. Dh loves having mirrors to reflect light, so we have at least one in every room.

Instead of a break at the TOTH I played outside with the dog and the backup "Big Squeaky" which she found after I got out more dust bags and filters for the Roomba. Then ddog and I walked around the block and enjoyed the afternoon. Sunny and 70 degrees! The Roomba finished up on screened porch while we walked - a funny - afterwards I am to review obstacles and one was a low to the ground image of the dog lounging, another was an image of the "Big Squeaky." I told it that both were temporary obstacles, lol. I need to hide the big squeaky again, it's a backup because she loves it so. (The original Big Squeaky" was destroyed by Boston, the cute French bulldog next door.

I'm going to give myself a rest until :15 before the TOTH and then work again for 45 min. Need to finish folding a load of laundry but may leave the one in the dryer until tomorrow.

I cleaned the roomba up and put it back on base to recharge. I'll run it again out there, either tomorrow or Friday. Likewise, I'll run it in the house tomorrow also. I didn't finish all on my list but that's okay. I don't need to make myself crazy.

Blessedw2 - Thank you for the update on your DMom.

Harriet - That looks like a great sour candy. I just placed an order. Thank you for the suggestion.

Cathy - you menu sounds so good.

I have been productive this afternoon by doing a list of items that are on my OMM list.....which I should renamed to Procrastination list. I've made 4 medical appointments, went to the bank and took care of financial things, and delegated two things for DS16 to do along with authorizing him to spend money to purchase items to get them accomplished.

DD13 brought home her 5 week progress report. All A's except for the Algebra class that she struggles with. She has an 86 in it. We lavished praise upon her and rewarded her financially.

Dmom is home and quite happy to be there.

Dh’s stone is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.
I’m glad… but I kinda dread seeing it. Today was the anniversary of his funeral.
Tomorrow is another day.
