Thumbs up for Thursday PWYC
Thumbs up! It's going to be a great day with lots of positives to offer our thumbs up. Along the way today, find those moments that make you feel great about the world and share. At the end of the day, let's offer a Thumbs up to Thursday.

Re: Thumbs up for Thursday PWYC
Thank you for starting us off this morning Twins' Mom!
Our recycling and compost have been taken out to the end of the driveway. It was a frosty morning here. Hopefully not too many of those left. Now the sun is shining.
We are having butter chicken for supper tonight along with some basmati rice and green peas.
Dh is taking a load of tires to the landfill later.

Wins some loose some
After fighting with a new big knitting project I was trying to start I had
to set it aside I could not get that to flow and was frustrated and basicly wasted
an afternoon on it. I picked up the previously started project a smaller one and got it to
the half way point. That other one will have to be a start over project for another day.
Then for the win went to the basement and seamed around a table cloth to fringe.
Got it fringed and headed of to bed at eleven last night.
Today is calm no wind yea!
I want to draw a bit in my bujo there is plenty of room & that gives me joy.
Will need to water it's dry out after the wind but blew away the pollen I think.
Apple trees are in bloom here.

Thumbs up to a work day here. Dh even says he'll be home early, we'll see how that goes. I like being able to delegate to him, but he often wants me to "show him" what I'm wanting or fetch for him and it interrupts what I'm doing.
I walked the dog only one lap, but talked to three neighbors along the way - two doing a little yard work and one walking. Beautiful morning, to be hot later, nearly 80 degrees, and becoming cloudy. The roomba has already been going - inside the house - for over and hour and earlier I put the shower curtain liner from the upstairs bath in the washer with bleach. Hoping it comes clean enough to put back up, otherwise I'll need to run to Tar-jay for a new one.
Eating my brunch now. I need to get moving again.
Priorities for next 1.5 days
-Upstairs bath, including shower curtain
-dust screened porch
-Run roomba on porch again after dusting
-garage clean up a bit
-Plants I purchased earlier this week:
---pansies out and geraniums/sweet potato vines into pots
---mint into its pot
---fern planted into pot, just sitting on top now
-Groceries, will need a few things
Nice to do
-Wash car, would be nice to spend a little time cleaning up inside
--HOA checks:
---Tree company
---lawn company
---Reimburse me
---Reimburse another
-downstairs baths, swish swipe
Optional
-take stuff off spring wreath, add fresh artificial flowers and ribbon
-what else?
Timer for 45 min beginning at :15 after
UGH! Didn't post this earlier

Lucylee, Jews end the formal mourning period a year after a death. The monument is usually "unveiled" about that time also. You're right on time! I hope it's meaningful for you to see the stone in place. There's a permeance to the stone.

Re: Thumbs up for Thursday PWYC
And next break for 15 min. i finished planting and cleaned up the front porch a bit. Used the blower to get dirt and leaves off from potting but I am not dusting out there right now. I also made a start on the garage - I may have bitten off more than I can chew but it will be neater. Roomba finished inside and is recharging itself. I had to laugh when its status was "Going to the Bathroom." The shower liner still has some soap scum but I think it will pass. I put it outside over a chair to dry off a little. May see what dh thinks, he should be home soon. LOL. (I honestly don't believe he'll leave work at 1:30ish.)

Re: Thumbs up for Thursday PWYC
I didn't make it here for the Good Morning greeting.
My normal informal greeting IRL is....
Hey there! It is good to see you. How are you doing?
I was up during the night helping DD13 get some relief from painful throat. We chatted about the possibility of it being acid reflux, but we ruled that out. She wasn't running a fever. I didn't have much to offer her - gargling with warm salt water and sucking on hard cough candy was all I could think of. I used to keep that spray that numbed the throat, but I am out of it (just ordered some). This morning DD13 woke up congested so I added Mucinex to her care plan. She stayed home from school today.
Homeschool with DS16 is done. There isn't school on Monday, so we are now on a 4 day break.
DD49 had invited everyone to her home for the holiday gathering. This morning, she rescinded that invitation with the possibility of doing it next weekend. So, that means I have a wide-open opportunity to cook for the Easter weekend. I need to get my Easter menu planning going and do some shopping.
