I am taking a break Einstein and I have been cleaning the house. I have laundry and towels washing and going and soon I’ll start back so it’s a stay at home kind of day for me for which I’m glad to be able to do what I need to do.

Cathy, thank you for getting us started this a.m. I feel like I've been with our company and dh nonstop since yesterday afternoon and I'm at home by myself finally while they go out to sightsee. All is well - I enjoy this couple so much, but I do need some time on my own. I just finally walked the ddog, we had an extended conversation on the screened porch, then dh made us omelets which we also enjoyed on the porch, and they just left.

I didn't do much of catching up but wanted to look it. I have most of a.m. routine to do although it's primarily kitchen and s2s for me a little later before we go out tonight.

Ah, I feel so much better now that the kitchen has been put back together. Dh cooked omelets this a.m. and the stovetop was a mess, he even noticed and apologized. He was going to do the clean up but I told him I'd rather do it myself. And it's giving me quiet time too. I have dishwasher going too, we didn't run it last night because it wasn't that full (grilled chicken and corn on the cob, roasted asparagus in oven and green salad) but it's way full now.

We may put out crackers and cheese later but we're eating out tonight. Company leaves tomorrow afternoon around three.

I'm looking at the calendar for next week. A week from today we're heading to the beach.

I have dug up lilac shoots for the neighbors daughter.
Then walked with ddoggo.
Had a tuna san. for my lunch.
Working on a crochet pattern I've done before but trying to remember with out yt LOL!
Bits of yarn are good for this.
Weather forecast was correct so glad we walked when we did.
I picked up a bit.
Got the branches cut up and in the can now they fit!
Rest break next up.

Dd26 brought the kitchen back to normal, whew. She used the carpet sweeper on the den rug, then used the carpet spray cleaner on spots. She helped her Dad with several things before she left, too. She had brought us each a take-out from different places that we would eat. With that meal, her Dad got all his meds into him for the first time in a couple days. Maybe he's starting to feel better. She and he talked together longer than they have in a long time - I think he felt heard and a little pampered.

She found a couple gaps in our household items that she wants to buy and bring tomorrow.

Later our green-eyed boy came and mowed. While he was working, his Dad sat and talked with me and played with Tobias. Ds is by far the best exercise trainer for Tobias, lol. They are active.

I ordered button-up-the-front pajamas, slippers, and a pair of walking shoes that I hope are lightweight but a good balance between my heavy ones that wear me out right now and my nice-looking ones that are less comfortable.
