(((Harriet))) Hang in there. Hopefully each day will get better as those new cells are doing their job.

Twins - you are missed! I hope you are enjoying the beach.

We are home from our weekly ice cream treat outing. We drove to view some of the flood damage that happened this week. They are repairing the washed away roads/bridges as quickly as possible, but it will take some time for the worst of it.

Part of our yard is still under water but there are parts that look normal. I mowed some today on the high ground. The grass is growing fast so any progress made now will help when the water recedes.

I haven't watched doss farm on YT in a while. They are fairly small (40 acreas?) and not much cowboy happenings to keep my interest. I watch Anchor Brand Ranch because they have 9 kids (4 to 20 yearish old) and the family does all the typical cowboy things on a shoestring budget. They are different in they ranch in the desert and also the florida swamp land, so the challenges are a cazillion times harder than ranching on grass prairie land.

On our outing today we were leaving DFriends home and chatted about their long horns that were next to the road. Most people who have long horns keep them in the front pasture separate from the regular herd. They do this for show but also because they have experienced how unpredictable long horns are compared to regular cattle. We had a conversation today that started with the question "Would you rather take care of a long horn, a Pitt bulldog or a tom turkey?" It has been our experience that all those animals can be nice as they can be.....until they aren't.

I did some clothes shopping for family online this week. I found some well-known brands at great prices. I was leery how they could be selling them so cheap. I was buying from places I knew (aRiver & Sams) so I could return if need be. I ordered about a dozen shirts and some jeans. Everything I received has been great. **sigh of relief**

I’ll be glad to be home tomorrow afternoon late. Dh and dfriends have been packing up already.

Glad to see Harriet looking in. Bw2 posted over in J&C earlier this evening.

I’m still around— just normal busy weekend with dgrands.
It has been soaking here too! Severe thunderstorm warnings, flash flood warnings — I’m making it fine but ds has a leak in his ceiling. :(

I’m keeping up with that emotional freedom journal, and new vitamins arrived today, so who knows what may happen to me in the next month? LOL.
I don’t like the taste of the gummies very much, but we’ll see — maybe I’ll get used to them.

So glad to hear from you, Harriet. Sounds like all is going as it should. (((Hugs)))
Tomorrow is another day.
