Ddog, her name is Tutsi, is hanging in there . She just ate half of a 3 ounce hamburger. It has occurred to me that I am gone most of Wednesday, at a prescheduled event. A bus ride to a dinner (luncheon) theater. I guess I'll have to call the sponsoring bank on Monday and tell them they can sell my ticket to someone on the waiting list, as I need to stay here and tend to Tutsi.
Some days ago, people were talking about how retirement is a time to do things .that one has wanted to do. I made a comment about how I wondered what that would be like. Mom responded with a remark that essentially said I was doing what I want, because I like to take care of people. (Indeed, I am happy that I can do this for people, but sometimes I think I might benefit from a little vacation )

It's a gorgeous summery day here. I've been sitting and resting my foot after overdoing it yesterday (except for standing at the stove making lunch, unloading the dw, loading it, wiping off the counters, trips down the stairs to the laundry room, carrying the dog outside to go potty.... I did use my crutches at church.)
