I did 15 min "walk away the pounds" and I really am planning to get this week off to a better start. Dmom's health could change my plans.
LOL -- I saw a meme that said something like, "It's the last week of school. Here are 47 events you are expected to attend during the work day."
My schedule is not THAT filled, but it is pretty hectic for the next 10 days or so...
Monday, May 12 -- my wellness check-up at family doctor's office
(saves me $50/month on healthcare. I just figured out that healthcare takes over $400/month out of my check. Sigh.) I may give this appt to dmom, however, depending on how she feels tomorrow and what her home health nurse has to say.
Tuesday, May 13 -- 6:00 pm -- dgd's 3rd grade class play
-- also at 6:00 pm -- church council meeting
* finally getting disaffiliation underway!!! * HOORAY *
However, ddil and I both talked with the pastor, and we are going to miss this meeting. It seems like a "done deal" and I have a friend who will take notes for me.
Wednesday, May 14 -- dmom has appt with pulmonologist in Next Town, so I will need to take her to that.
-- also -- Wednesday night church
Thursday, May 15 -- NOTHING (so far, which means 15 things may occur that need my attention)
Friday, May 16 -- Awards Day at middle school, dgd will spend the night with me
Saturday, May 17 -- Graduation party for dcousin, dgs will spend the night with me
-- also 50th anniversary party for friends...
not close-close friends, and I am sending regrets because of grad party. The invitation says "no gifts," so I am just sending a card
Sunday, May 18 -- normal church, etc
Monday, May 19 -- 6:00 pm -- church conference to vote on disaffiliation, ALL members should be present.
We have to have 2/3 in favor of disaffiliation. We have heard of churches that failed by ONE vote!
-- also at 7:30 -- dcousin's graduation
I will probably miss graduation, because I do need to be there to vote and to take notes. Dcousin, I am sure, couldn't care less. He'll probably be out with friends afterwards, since we will all be seeing him on Saturday.
OTOH, it occurred to me that I really have no problem getting my Monday weekly routine started -- s2s, start laundry. It's almost automatic.
Sooo... why can't I do the WHB in this same way? So instead of putting "WHB" on my planner for Tues and Wed, I am going to put either vacuum or dust on Tuesday, and clean bathrooms on Wednesday, and try to "get at them" just like I do laundry on Mondays.
And hope springs eternal in the area of exercise.
And washing dishes.
I hope you all have a great week ahead.

Re: Mothers Day Sunday PWYC
Hi. I guess I just didn't post yet either. It was a pretty good day. Church this morning. Both kids messaged. I talked to dd yesterday for a good visit in the morning. Dad put on supper and we all brought stuff. Mom's birthday was Friday. Always the same weekend as mother's day. So we had a nice meal and i made birthday cake. Ds and ddil came too. Except lil guy was really fussy so ddil took him home early.
Mom has done really well again the last few days. It's nice to see her bright and happy. They had a really good appointment with the dr the other day. A post surgery check for dad. And general everything for mom.
Plus Thursday was a trip to the city with ds15. Big day. Autism spectrum assessment for him. I'm still waiting for the report. But yes he's somewhere on the spectrum. I knew it. A lot going on again though. I guess I am just tired.
Cathy I get it.
Lady M I'm glad you are getting used to the new vehicle. I get really stressed when they want to break down.
