Bama, I can understand the difficulty of getting pet sitters for your menagerie! Years ago, when we had one cat, it was reasonably straightforward, as our neighbours also had a cat, so we could reciprocate. Multiple cats are a different league altogether. And, of course, most of our cats over the years have been "special" in some way (Lupin was diabetic and needed twice daily insulin injections, Trifle hated everyone except "Mum", and showed her feral side to everyone else. And now, we have Freddie...)

Upstairs is now clean and tidy, Freddie has had another walk (he insisted! ) and I'm thinking of going up to bed before I fall asleep non this chair.

Tossed pair of stretched out socks

House tasks: Replace the bit of mortar that's fallen out of the edge of the roof (I think its called the verge? Can this wait until next year when we get the house painted when a roof ladder will be in place?)
Sort out cabinet that wobbles - does the back need some sort of bracing ?
Fix garage guttering that's loose at one end and bending down. Dneighbour R2 may fix?
Fix dripping kitchen tap (new washer ?)- DF E has given me the phone number of her plumber . I think DF CW also has a plumber she is happy with?
Take up and hem those thick winter curtains for the kitchen
Book eye test for me
Find picture hanging equipment for DH
Sort prints and put in albums (this will probably be an activity to do on wet days!) WIP I am now working on 2024
Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.

Kittykatt, the pets definitely complicate things. I don’t leave for more than 2 nights so the cats can fend for themselves. I haven’t left since Tux got “senioritis”, I need a house sitter but don’t really trust anyone with the home and pets so I do it to myself lol.
Freddie is getting you both out and about like it or not.
