My team has a day game, and they are losing. Oh! Our star player just hit a 3-run homer. We are still losing, but the lead is not looking so insurmountable.
Got a couple more documents to edit today. Apparently the pipeline is a bit different for this project than it has been previously, so the guy who worked on these before me put them where he thought was the right place, but I had no idea to look there. (I'm not even sure where it was; they're in my folder now.)
Oh, shoot! I forgot I was going to start a crockpot for dinner today! Now I have to figure out what will be a quick dinner we can have before DH goes to Scouts. Looks like red beans and rice is our best bet. It'll take time to simmer, but the prep work is minimal. It also looks like I should make sure to thaw some salmon for Friday dinner; we have three salmon meals in this month's rotation, and it's already halfway through the month.
Dropped off our membership form to the beach club this morning. DC said they would do it, but when the hour rolled around, they were not up yet. Shame -- their former choir teacher was collecting the membership forms, with her adorable baby to help her.
Oh, no! The bad guys scored two more. When the game ends, I will wash a few dishes, then get back to payroll work. I think I'm only going to aim to get one of the two documents done, so I have something for tomorrow. I should have time to get a load of DH's shirts done after that, presuming he is (as usual) the one to make dinner.
Many good ideas here today, from different ways to sort papers to "Figuring It Out."

I've got my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder, and Guilder to frame for it; I'm swamped. -- Prince Humperdinck
Making good progress today. Mostly. I did a couple of short sessions outside. Weeding. Starting prep for the flowerbed I want to make. I am going to go to the greenhouse after school cause ds wants to come. Get some bedding plants. And flowers for the annual bed and pots. Maybe a couple perrenial ones too.
A few groceries. A new set of towels for the master bath. I have one good set but old ones to replace with.
I am liking the new growth and greenery. Leaves out. Grass ready to mow. Guess I have to get dh motivated. Or maybe a driving lesson for ds 15. If we can get him good at mowing with the ride on it's on the way to learning to drive.
I shut down the upstairs computer and lost another post. Dd had called while I was trying to write, and dh got home "Hello!"
I finished two more graduation cards so I think I'm done. Might work on redoing one of them. Dh like the one I did today that was different best. I also did an envelope with a stamped diploma in the coordinating color on the lower left corner.
Realized I need to send an email as follow up to the meeting of HOA board/chairs the other evening. No rest for the wicked. And I need to do some checks and just don't have it in me right now.
Tomorrow I have a box lunch gathering at temple at noon, then a trip/tour through the local plan nursery. But I have my workout at two - although it's nearby - and with the temp supposed to be mid 80s tomorrow I couldn't leave a plant in the car. But I do need to get a couple of tomato plants.

DD13 is feeling better. She feels good enough to resume hours long phone conversations with friends.
DS16 and Logan are back from playing in the local lake. They took the side-by-side and went swimming. Our temp got to 97F today so they declared the cold water felt good. They just left to get parts to repair DS16 pickup because it quit shifting. Something about a bushing and/or shifter linkages. Hopefully their mechanical ability will match their confidence level.
i didn't sleep well last night and the reduced sleep is showing up in my lack of energy. I have completed 12 hours of 250+ steps and am at 7K steps for the day. I think I will stop for the day and not try for anymore.
Sweet dreams to all.
