Not that Saturday itself is savvy of course, but we, together, as residents of our little village are savvy women with lots of knowledge and smarts. We've been there, or one of us has, or we've seen it!having or showing perception, comprehension, or shrewdness especially in practical matters

Re: Savvy Saturday PWYC
Twins - Thank you for the start today.
I am late getting to SHE village due to watching the live stream of DGS18 graduate from high school. It lasted for over 2 hours due to there being over 1400 students in DGS18 class. Attending in person wasn't possible for DH and myself, so we did the next best thing. In hindsight I think this way of watching was better because the many camera could give a close up of everything happening. I was texting with DS51 and DDIL all during the ceremony and we were exchanging pictures. My heart is full.
I intend to take it as easy as possible today. Fatigue is the most listed side effect of yesterdays treatment. I still want to do all my normal things but just reduce the most physical activities. My body doesn't do well when I am sitting still for long periods.

Re: Savvy Saturday PWYC
Thank you for opening up the PWYC part of the village today Twins' Mom!
Dh and I have been to Walmart. We weren't there as early as I would like, but dh is getting stuck in his own routine in the morning and he isn't ever in a rush to do anything anymore.
Lots of traffic on the back roads today. We went past the garden centre that dh went to yesterday and there was no parking there at all today. He sid he had no problem there. Traditionally today is the day to plant, therefore a lot of people go to garden places today.

Re: Savvy Saturday PWYC
Glad to see Harriet has CI in J&C thread.
I have been to the market & moved the rig to sweep seeds from where it was.
Food is put away.
I'm getting a car package for Dgd rounded up.
Dd is coming today.
Did not find shop sale oh well.
Waving to all.
Walk X
dd pruned tree lower branches with ladder in back.
Some pick up to do later that I will do next week.
I have removed drawers from desk and we will move it when she is off the phone &
I'm done with my rest break.
We have moved the main part of the desk upstairs / I need to get the drawers up later.
Then the light bulb needs changed in the butterfly room. Done.
Still need to cut up the branches they are waiting & fill up the cans to do later.
Got pic. of DD doing that for my yt next week or the week after.

Re: Savvy Saturday PWYC
Lost a post when I rebooted without posting. This little laptop is continuing to crash when it's left sitting overnight. It seems to restart itself so I find out when I find the auto recovered version of Excel and word that I've left open.
Walked ddog and visited with neighbors earlier - they tried for a community yard sale but there weren't many that wanted to sell today.
Dh and I are feeling at odds. He says I'm driving him crazy and I think he's driving me crazy. Who knows where the truth falls, lol.

Re: Savvy Saturday PWYC
Hi, all.
Congratulations to graduate grandmother LadyM.
Trying for some normalcy in small doses today, sitting at my own desk.
Ddolder and WonderBoy away at a distant medium-size Univ where he is serving as a Junior Marshall to his high school's graduates today. She is stuck in an unshaded parking spot she's afraid to give up because of the crowds. Hot, hot.
While they are gone, HRH provided the other boys lunch of delivery pizza, so I've seen DangerBoy and the youngest briefly today. The fourth boy is in a class, will enjoy warmed pizza later.
Dd26 is in NY for a conference I didn't even know about. I'm so out of all the loops. She sent photo of skyscraper oddities.
My tiny projects are to renew a script by phone and make myself a mini meal. Mini laundry load possible. TaDa was unpacking suitcase from hospital after these many days.

Re: Savvy Saturday PWYC
Good afternoon! Glad to see Harriet has enough energy to join us today.
I am lacking the brain to really comment properly. It's not helped by DC having a slightly frenzied comedy show on the TV. But congratulations to Lady and LordM and their DGS.
Girls' night tonight is a tea party; I am tasked with making cucumber sandwiches. Book club (Terry Pratchett's Witches Abroad) is postponed till Tuesday because one of us (my dfriend K) is out of town at her DD's college graduation.
I should go make those sandwiches so I make sure I get them done in time to get myself cleaned up and go.

After Lunch CI...
Got all but one can full of the branches the were cut off today.
2/3rds of them are down to size that will fit in the can.
Others can wait on a break now...
Hydrating.
Desk is set up drawers are in and ready to load.
So happy with the progress today so far.
dd has left and will be back next Sat. she said.
She took a small round table to use outside for journaling coffee etc. in the mornings in her yard area.
Plus a 2" thick gardening book, some color books for Dgd to look through & snack for Dgd.
A couple other things are for later still here.
Happy with progress.
Small desk on wheels is out in the dining room needs a diff spot.
I got the branches picked up and loaded in the trailer and the containers filled
that hold them are full now as well.

Re: Savvy Saturday PWYC
I don't believe I have ever seen a cucumber sandwich. I looked up recipes for recommended ingredients and ways to make them. Interesting. I do love a fresh tomato sandwich, so I assume it is similar but with different vegetable. That gets me to wondering what other kind of vegetables are theme for a sandwich? Avocado sandwich. Humus or bean sandwich. I suppose the possibilities are endless.cucumber sandwiches
We are back from getting drinks and going for a drive through some less traveled country roads.
