Re: Anti Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
I'm heading out:
-leave a check in a mailbox
-vet to pick up Seresto collar
-post office to drop off mail
-gas the car
-wash the car
I'll watch the webinar when I return. Perhaps sort a few papers while I'm watching/listening.

Re: Anti Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Hi! I haven't been here in a while.
I've been working on streamlining all my closets. BOY is that a job! My house is old and I have quite a few closets and storage areas BUT they are weird sizes so trying to fit newish bins and drawers in for organization doesn't always work!
I took a break today to : go through sweaters and sweatshirts, give away some, pack the remaining in space saver bags and then in my cedar chest.
Now I'm going through books in my bedroom.

Hi!
Dh and I both just had a 2 1/2 hour nap. I think I could easily go back under the duvet because we were both so cold that dh put the furnace back on. He said the floors felt cold and the cat's all had cold ears. I moved a bunch of paperwork from in here to the table in the library. I want to either burn or file most of it. I actually want to go through all files more than 7 years old and burn anything I won't need in the future. I'm sure I can get one or two bags full.
In the past year I have been seeing more and more people younger than myself in the local obituaries. Dh and I were out for a short drive earlier and we were talking about some things. His 65th birthday is in a month from now.

Yes, Cathy, I see people younger than me in the obits. I'm 69, 70 in December.
I love it that you're still putting in plants, LadyM. I don't feel quite so far behind.
JoanThursday, good to see you here again, you've been busy! WTG on the closets!
I'm home again. Dfriend M was walking by as I pulled into the driveway so I went in and got Millie's harness and walked with her. Put me over 8K for today. I need to start the webinar and eat something. I had a banana earlier but with such a late brunch I haven't been hungry until now.
I'm really tired of drinking water but feel I need to keep pushing it through. Added L'Croix key lime sparking water to it this time.
After the webinar, I need to get with packing. Not even sure what to take!
Update: cannot get webinar to start. Site just keeps buffering. I wonder if there are a lot of us trying to watch it today? I'm going to take a break and try it again later. Also sent email to support.

Re: Anti Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Recap:
-finish plants in backyard, a tomato and herb into the ground, including protection from ddog digging Done
-go by vet this afternoon to pick up a new Seresto collar for ddog. Hers is lost, I've given it enough time to turn up...
-Write and mail HOA check, mail another, drop off one
-watch webinar that is "homework" before the workshop that I'm attending on Friday. Looks like that's about an hour
-check with neighbors for someone to walk ddog during the day on Thursday (ddog sitter works until six p.m.)
-write a sentiment and mail card for grand niece
-gas up and wash my car, which we are taking
-clean travel CPAP Done
-Go by post office to drop things in mail
I do have smaller items that still need to be done but all in all, I've been productive. Now if I could get the webinar to play....

Re: Anti Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
My garden is over crowded already but did that stop me from bringing home more flowers to plant? ....I think we all know the answer to that question.
Living vicariously through hearing about Twins', LadyM's, Nancy's and others' various planting fun.
I didn't realize until today how disappointed I was the other day to see that, in my "absence" someone among my male family members has cleared my little woodland-plant-space near my back door. I loved those little ferns, especially, but all of the "wild" flora in that small area. Each time I have foliar-fertilized since we've lived here, I've given a bit of the spray to that shady area, which stays moist because it's near the outdoor faucet. I had thought of judiciously nipping a few small fern leaves for making pressed-plant bookmark gifts. Now it is a naked place.
Cathy, I know you will be glad when your kittie's ears warm up and your household sleeps cozier.
Twins' how long will you be gone?
We are about to bake rolls that have been rising. House should smell very nice soon.

Harriet, we'll be home on Sunday afternoon/evening.
Support request suggested I try another browser. I had tried webinar on my PC windows 11 and on iPad but the webinar is running on Edge,
I made myself a salad with sliced grilled chicken, tomatoes, kalamata olives, goat cheese, and spring mix, dressed with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. It's yummy.

Re: Anti Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
It is good to read all of your posts.
I had a tuna san. for my dinner.
Sat outside for a bit with my bare feet in the grass.
Took a stroll around the block.
Did a bit of knitting.
Earlier in the day saw the medics on the street behind me the wife had a liver transplant ten or so
years ago, the man had a heart attack in the last two or three years, I think I saw him standing there
when they left.
When we were camping we used to bring the dirty dishes home on the last day
and wash them at home it was so much easier with hot and cold running water.
Other times at home I'd wash them on the out door workspace just for fun and to
change it up a bit. LOL!

Re: Anti Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Lots of planting here. That's sad someone moved the plants Harriet. I love ferns. I need a new one. Unless my sister saved it. When we were in Vancouver with mom last year I bought a fern houseplant and brought it in to her hospital room. She thought it was hers so I gave it to her at home. Poor thing got so over watered and then forgotten again. ...
I did 2 big things today. Phew. My rug is the anti-procrastination project. It must have been on my list for a year. And ds helped plant a bunch of herbs while I did the garden. I'm ready for bed now . In a bit.
