Trissie, my English teacher used to say, "there is a time and a place for everything," and I'm sure that includes bribery! We usually have a roast lunch on Sundays. It helps make the day a bit special, it means I get cooking over for the day early (a large late lunch means no one actually *needs* another meal in the evening) and usually provides a basis for some more meals.

I finally made it outside, and pulled up some more forget-me-nots, had a short tidying session and watered my pots. Back indoors now, and I've fed the kitties. I need to give Matilda and Jude their Laxapet and make my list for the week. Tomorrow is a bank holiday, so we can have a slower start again.

Your ds is working hard, trissie. Or - at least he has a lot of work. My mom is more alert than before the hospital, but she's become extremely sleepy again. They tweaked her meds and she seems to be more awake in the afternoons, which is new.
Nice you can have a slow start tomorrow, Kitty. It's a holiday here too, but I'm meeting friends at 8:45 a.m. so I'll have to get up earlier than usual. That was not my idea.
