Interesting that Springer and Cocker Spaniels used to come from the same litter! Did the Cavaliers descend from the smaller of the Cockers? My mom used to tell us that she and Daddy had a Cocker Spaniel at some point, but I have no recollection of it. She used to say its name was toki - tokig means crazy, bonkers in Swedish. As I said, I have NO recollection of that dog, and I am the oldest child. I've never seen a picture of it either.
The construction crew for the sidewalks I don't want is gone for the weekend, what a treat to have peace and quiet. Dsis2 and I went to Menard's to get cedar chips, then to visit mother. Dsis2 stayed for supper, I returned home to take care of little dog's eye, unload the car and pour 4 bags of mulch around 1 tree, then back to pick pu dsis2 to come home in time to do another round of meds for little dog, wash a lol, shower shampoo.
even tho I'm treating dlittle dog eyes, doen't seem like much progress.
1 more round, then I get to go to bed.
And get up early in the morning to start all over again, then pick up mother for church.
It's Pentecost, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, in all the languages. We have a global mission pastor preaching, then a pot luck where we are encouraged to bring food from our heritage. Pastor has invited some of the Muslim Somali community to join us. That should be some new tastes! I'm bringing Swedish Rice Pudding.
