Magical Monday PWYC
A new week, it's always magic to get that fresh start every week.
And perhaps we'll apply a little magic to this board while we're here and be able to keep in touch!

Re: Magical Monday PWYC
Good morning! Glad to be able to get in.
I should update about my birdies: they are well. The guy doing the power washing was very careful, and their nest was unharmed.
It has been gloomy here this morning, and I'm moving slowly, but it looks like the sun is beginning to peek through. I am going to get some form of caffeine in the vague hope it will wake me up. I'm not going to bother logging in to work until the afternoon; I logged in on Saturday in case something had come in late Friday, but there was nothing.
Oh, gosh! I almost forgot to call the mechanic! I need to get the brakes fixed before we go to Columbus next week. Going to do that now.
I hope the login problems go away and I see you all later.

Re: Magical Monday PWYC
Looks like others have been able to get here, but I just made it through the error messages. I wonder if rebooting my computer had anything to do with it?-
I've walked the ddog but my left hip sure is bothering me today. Yesterday felt I was hobbling at times. I perhaps need to have it looked at, I'm not sure if I'll work out today or not. When it sit awhile, it hurts when I get up and move around. If I stay moving all the time it's better, but still achy.
I've been working on my Evernote inbox, which is down to 90-odd items.

Good morning!
No magic happening here - just consistent perseverance. I have a plan and a desire to follow it, but being a sidetrackable person means I am frequently adjusting my thoughts and actions. I am an expert and highly experienced in sidetracking.
It is a me vs me challenge to stay on track without falling completely off plan.
The refrigerator and freezer organization and ready-to-eat food replenished is still dominate in my efforts. I have a long list of food ingredients to purchase and will be making a trip to the city this afternoon. I spent some time in the kitchen this morning with all the stove burners going to get some food cooked & ready for the day. We will be eating a meal out today and tomorrow so that will hopefully help me get a foot hold and then i can work on getting 24 hours ahead with food prep.

Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.

Re: Magical Monday PWYC
yesterday Mom had an angry day - in the morning I was able to get her up and goin with out problem - had a nice conversation - as the day went on she struggled. We gave her lactalose as her ammonia rises which causes the anger and delirium. She hard a hard time waking this morning but then finally woke with a smile.
I had a long talk with the caregiver. I needed to clear up any confusion of what is needed in mom's case; to tell her that we needed a helper. She is used to being the everything for the person she cares for - she did the dr. the meds, the complete caretaker, the driving, the lifting even with tall and bigger people - men and women. She rarely saw the families.
I think she is relieved that she is not responsible for picking up mom herself - from now on she will call us when she gets mom out of bed or that mom is limp and doesn't want to move. She will also call us to help with the beginning walking of mom with a walker - until/when mom is stronger - mom becomes a dead weight when she doesn't want to move anymore.
I think everything should be better - she is asking me for help when moving mom from the bed. she is no longer worry about anything. medical. I think we have come to a middle.

Hi!
It's pouring rain here. I went to the pharmacy before the Monday Morning Fibre Group and I have 4 prescriptions to pick up later today.
I also have the Monday afternoon craft group. that starts in 30 minutes.

Simple, even pleasant, appts today. Lab, then saw the dr herself. No need for anything after that and we could go home.
My potassium is up into the normal range so well that the number of pills has been cut in half now. Yea! So tired of worrying about potassium.
Magical, or at least remarkable - I asked a question that has been nagging at me - will these changed cells pass on their characteristics for my future? Or will this be a window of opportunity only? Dr. says, "We have no assay for determining that yet. Our conjecture is that cells have this stronger ability into the future." HRH and I thought that was pretty optimistic, especially since this Dr never expresses optimism lightly.
HRH reminds that if a Tyrannosaurus Rex would like to devour me for his picnic, he really should be informed that I may not be an all-Non-GMO product.
HRH stopped at a local restaurant on the way home for takeout of their coleslaw and okra. We added that to lunch at home and it was all very good. After that meal, he was feeling well, which was a relief since he'd felt iffy at the appts.
((Twins')), ouch!
Mystery, hooray that birdies are safe, even though their surroundings are cleaned! How long will you be gone to Columbus?
Hi, kitkat. Is Sw/sw a swish and swipe?
blessed, it's so good that you have knowledge of what causes the anger episodes and a solution for it.
resemblance here - seriously good at it.
