lauralind, sometimes even "not to take on too much" is just plain old too much, I could definitely write a book on that!

You are a little bit east of where I was picturing, Gma. When I was a child living in Manitoba, we used to do our grocery shopping in Minnesota, so I forget that a good part of it is actually south of Ontario.
It seems like a lot to have to maintain a second house, but as you showed, it does have its contribution to make.

I'm glad that you got to enjoy nice weather in the garden, Kittykatt.

Hi, Bama.

You are not a bad housekeeper, Lauralind, you are worn out by carrying too many loads at the same time. You deserve praise for getting so much done.

We all need some goofing off time, helia. Are you reading your stack of books, writing about them, or organizing them?

Nothing like a surprise detour when you have popsicles threatening to melt in the back of the car, L.Ann.

That sounds like a good approach, trissie. The pre-packing chaos in my apartment has reached the point where I think that even my Inner Brat might be amenable to "Would you like to see a clear space here? Let's make it!"

I have made it up to the end of Page 2, and I have to stop here. I have to spiff myself and get ready to take ddog to the groomer.

Dogged, there might be activities that your inner brat likes which require clean surroundings - for me, it's reading a magazine on the sofa. Which requires a cleared sofa and a coffee table to put the magazine on!

- start dinner - dough for bavarian muffins proofing

ToDos
- gather recyclings in the car
- clean one shelf in pantry
- pick up DS

Well my lil j is so sweet. Lots of smiles and giggles on the play mat for a while and now he is crashed in my arms. I wonder if he will let me put him down and I can deal with some berries...

Wednesday
Hung the delicates to dry
Cleaned up after dog X 2
Put on a pot of coffee
Phone visit with db
Put away dry dishes
Started washing dishes
Wiped down the inside of the breadmaker
Washed some more dishes
Spiffed self
Brought Germane to groomer
Germane pooped in the car as soon as we pulled out of the parking lot
Brought her to groomer anyway
Bagged the poop
Stopped at animal hospital to stock up on her canned food
Brought up back seat covers to be washed
Started a load of laundry

Ha! My Inner Brat knows better than to believe anything that I promise it, trissie. Most recent case in point: I told my Inner Brat that if we get the laundry done on the first day of our weekend, then we have our full time and full use of our joints today to try to catch up on housework and start preparing for the trip. So we did laundry. And what am I doing today? Laundry! Germane pooped in the car on the very short trip to the groomer, so I have to wash the canvas cover and fleecy throw, and while I'm at it, I gathered up other throws that we have been using as dog beds. Plus I have to wrestle her crate to the car so that she can't poop directly on the seats on the way home. On the bright side, when I bring the rental car back next week, her crate will already be nearby in my car.
--Just got a call from the groomer that Germane is done. Let the crate wrestling begin!

Sounds like a good time, Lauralind!

WTG on Ta Das, Bama, trissie, Lauralind and Peaches. May your To Dos be cooperative.

Aw, baby smiles and laughs are the best, Lauralind. Could you lay him down?
Hi Peaches!
WTG with the TaDas, Bama. Romans is a deep book of the Bible. Are you using a guide/ commentary?
LOL Doggedly! :D I love your questions! The desk and a built in shelf (in the bay window) in our "study" have piles of my books for work and papers on them. Those books and papers need to be decluttered, organized, filed, etc. True confession - there are also 4 stacks of books on the floor by the bookshelf in that room, 2 are up to my hip in height, but those are a mix of my books and dh's books, and I won't work with them yet. We don't have enough bookshelves in our house -- though we have a lot, in every room - except for bathrooms. Then, There's a stack of books on my bedside table. . .
trissie, we only got one dresser for my mom, but it's pretty big. Still. . . I need to order shelves for her room; I'd like some help from dh or the girls (much better at determining what looks nice and might suit the room best.) How much longer are you single parenting? 1 more week?

I'm drinking coffee, trying to find mojo. I'm moving SO slowly - but it's also kind of nice.

Next:
- finish reclaiming kitchen
- write out menu plan
- finish coa cards

Later:
- some qt
- reclaim the kitchen
- strip MBR bed?
- remake MBR bed with clean sheets
- finish change of address cards - why do I keep procrastinating on this?
- menu plan written down (already made)
- 30 minutes on piles
- coffee shop - fav outdoor one?
- payroll: update exam record
- payroll: start Exam 1
- maybe spend time writing?
- bring bins back to the house
- update health apps (MFP, WW, Noom)
- dinner: turkey burger, green salad
- duo
- read for fun - wip!
- anything else from brain dump?

TaDas!
- up late bc I went to bed late; weighed self
- coffee
- email deletions and weather website
- back exercises
- JOG the arb hill
- lunch
- s2s and self care
- squeegeed and wiped down shower
- spent some time reading :)
