Is the third time the charm when I think I'm going to empty that bookcase upstairs today? And why can't I seem to walk upstairs and do it?

Thank you for the start today Twins' Mom!

I was trying to purge my filing bin full of patterns and works in progress yesterday and I found a pattern that I have always loved and so I put that pattern aside. Then I went and found the aida in the size and colour recommended. (I have a great stash of aida cloth) This morning I got the threads out of my thread storage bins. All I have to do is press the aida cloth and get started. As if I need another project on the go...

I do have a couple of pots and pans to wash. I also have to empty the dishwasher. I've already taken the kitchen garbage out. It's overcast and there is rain in the forecast. Fingers crossed that it might rain today.

I had planned today but DH lost his memory again, so I am scrapping some of those plans. I want to keep his environment as calm and stable as possible while waiting for his memory to return (12-24 hours).

I called and cancelled DH sonogram scheduled for today. This was to take a look at his bladder and kidneys so it can wait.
The xray of my right hip is being postponed. It can wait for a better day.
I am considering whether to cancel Micro grooming appointment today. It comes with an hour drive there/back which I think DH will be able to handle. He can ride with me, and it will fill a couple hours of his day.

The fella doing the work in DS16 bedroom will be working here today. They are going to start tearing out the exterior wall and see how big of a project this is going to be. DS16 has agreed to stay home from work and oversee this project. The big decisions will be made by me but otherwise DS16 will handle things. DH shouldn't be affected by the construction noise since there are many rooms/doors between him and the construction area.
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.

I wee bit of a rough morning - just with sleep - one dog started barking at 4 am - I let the dogs out (who - me 8-) )
then I tried sleep but was wide awake for a bit - and had uncomfortable sleep. Mom was wide awake -
I am still tired but mom is up - she cleaned herself and then I helped with the rest. she put on her own shirt - I helped her to stand but most of it was her work. She is a little more feisty today. ;) but her head is with it. (my ability to find humor has not caught up with my brain yet) She has had her meds and has breakfast before her.

We hired a service for mom - they start tomorrow and I am looking forward to have extra help again. I will have a lot of work today to make sure that everything is where it should be.

hello to everyone - wishing you a wonderful day.

I will spend the next half hour trying to get my brain and body to work together.

CI & First a wave to all!
Up at 4:15
Got going in my office and did journaling.
Then it was desk duty time quarterly budget update is more work
as I'm not doing monthly stuff any more. Maybe will change it back after the first of the year.
But for now I have three or four sheets left in this note book so will not have enough pages.
So glad I can do that and logging already paid stuff is not as emotional.

Did a back yard walk about to clear my head.
Took a few min. to clear my head and did 4 laps around the back yard.
Bfast mostly done except cooking my egg.

I have info. to brain dump in journey thread on the one thing book what I've learned and done.
Found work book PDF did that
66 day one thing challenge for me is anti p. daily task. Half done on month two of it.
I'll be using a new to me needle point planner ringed binder for info. place to find this.
