What have you got going today

I used to have Saturday as my heavy outside work day - including the garage - and usually a dinner made outside on the fire.
I want to get back to my weekly routine.

my hope - work outside this morning

I have to wake mom up at 8:30 am. maybe 9 am
my work is here in and outside.

I am thinking of hiring a cleaning company weekly instead of every two weeks at least for now.

I have been up since way to early o'clock when the ddoggo wanted out.
Did not go back to sleep yet...
got the ribbons etc. in the sewing zone.
Picked the apples tree is 99% done now.
Pulled 5 weeds.
Have walked ddoggo most of her route today.
Duds are in the dryer.
Journaling is done.
Froze sausage dogs half are in the basement freezer now.
Did a pupa in spare room still working on that bed in there made progress yea!
Some notes for my add a card project and pages for my planner to get cut to fit and
see if they will work or not.

I have been toying with the idea of going to ddolder's porch today and sitting with the boys and visiting. Talked to her about this yesterday. I can't walk there like HRH does, of course (not a chance, lol), but in a car. Also, toying with the idea of driving myself, which shouldn't be a problem. My notebook of "dos and don'ts" specifically says I can't drive yet, but as "my team" has discussed, that means driving out into traffic, not to a neighbor's house. She is a half-mile away and almost no time for tires to even be on pavement. I'd need to tell the boys in advance, and they would need to help me feel confident on the front steps, that's all. I could see my granddog for the first time in many months, and meet my grandcat Pearl, who met HRH the other day.

Dsonil says he and dd hope to come tomorrow evening and bring us supper, which is a nice thought. We are really missing them.

Next up a healthy brunch and calling my grandboys to make a plan.

I got a sudden forehead headache - took Tylenol -
I normally get back and top of head headaches weird.
took my meds
dh fed dogs and is doing dishes
put water on where the drip system doesn't reach.

I want to work outside but I know I have to get mom started. I might check on her again and see if I can take 1/2 an hour.

mom is in angry mode - even though its 9:55 am we will give her another 1/2 hour and hope that her brain doesn't feel like she is in danger.
dd young said - go outside and work for a bit and then we can work on getting mom up.

Just like Nancy I was out for an early morning walk with puppy. Today is her last day here so maybe tomorrow I get to sleep later than 5:30 AM.

I have an event tonight at our clubhouse and I am bringing spinach dip. Sweetie elected not to go so that’s not a problem.

Blessed… Sorry your mom is giving you such a difficult time this morning.

Harriet… Sounds like you might have a very pleasant day today. Hope all goes well and you get to visit. That should bring some smiles for you. Enjoy your kids and the puppy.

I've been piddling a bit. Updated calendar in planner through the end of July and added the August tab. I took May contents upstairs to file already. I turn over to the July tab tomorrow, since there's more of next week in July than in June.

Looking ahead, we go to the beach a week from tomorrow - travel on Sunday, come home on Thursday, so that week is mostly shot. The coming week is short because of 4 July and is first week dh is home. I have some things to do before the party on the 27th - have someone in to clean windows, and clean furniture. I'd like for us to clean the concrete, maybe the rug, and cushions/pillows on screened porch. I was thinking yesterday I'd run the roomba out there but we had a storm yesterday that left the rug soaked. It's polypropylene, so it dries but it it stays humid and keeps raining it takes awhile.

Dfriends A and V have out of town company today, and I'm not keen on a boat ride. I think we're inviting neighbors over for charcuterie and drinks around six. That will take care of dh's need to socialize today, I hope.

Ohh harriet that sounds like a wonderful day. Hope. Getting behinds the wheel again for short distances. Enjoy your family time.

Blessed that must be so hard to have the angry side of mom. I have seen that in others but very thankful that is not the case with my mom. She can be stubborn and not want to go anywhere. I hope she comes around. Glad you have good help now. And hopefully you can enjoy outside.

Nancy that is a very productive morning. And rose too. Bright and early.

I did the opposite today. Slept till 7. Almost unheard of for me. Now it's after 8 and it feels like after 6. I want to sit here longer. The sun is shining in the window feeling beautiful.

What to do today. First off. I have to do music prep for tomorrow. Some catch up in the house. And figure out how to have a slight break from the parents house except for I desperately need to get the chickweed under control. Balance. Rest. Something fun. I dunno. The topic is perfect for today now just to make it happen.
