Saturday Fun in the sun or work day at home? June 28 PWYC

I swept the floor in the kitchen did a bit of a pick up in the kitchen and a tiny bit in the bed room.
dd called.

I drove to ddolder's and enjoyed the family and pets. Pearl the cat definitely thinks her best pal is my middle grandboy, who has her riding on his shoulder around the yard while he waters plants. (She's very small)

HRH and I had a very odd lunch of waffles - don't ask me why, lol.

Dbil called and it was so good for HRH to have a long talk with him. They went way back in their history with remembrances, back to when they were in a bachelor household, and how dbil took care of HRH's house after we married, etc. Dbil is sounding so relieved to be his own boss now, able to stay off his feet some. He has just gotten a new dog for his dd, my "baby niece", now 16 years old.

Then ddolder invited me to come back over and meet the very nice fellow she is dating (yes, dating after 5 years of widowhood). He is pleasant and seems a happy person, unassuming, well-adjusted.

Back home and with HRH finally off the phone, he and I went out for a quick errand or two and got back in right before the rains.

Harriet that sounds like you had a very good time!

I decided I needed to pay attn.to some daily's after taking Fri. off and not doing much
today either. Down time was needed.
Had egg salad for my dinner.
Dishes are done, swept kit. & did a spot mop, made the bed and happy to say my
new pants fit yea! Did the duds up. Watered my tomatoes today.
