You got lots done but also found ways to relax, L.Ann--a perfect day!

After I got the laundry flipped , I was sore all over so I took a pill and lay down until it was time to get it. I now have the laundry back in my apartment. It still needs to be hung, but I'll take time out for supper.

Hi all. I had a success day. My house is still a bit of a mess but I got projects done. Dh did too. I messaged my sister this morning. She's has a degree in horticulture. Suggest maybe she could help me decide how to plant my bed. Her guy came too and they got here just when dh went out to work on the mower. The older one than broke a while ago. Dad managed to fix his so he had an extra that dh got. Maybe sister will get our old one but he helped dh fix that. Sister helped me finish digging my bed and gave me ideas of where to put what. They were busy working so we went and got the soil and her things from my store. So i spread that out and planted my peony and poppy and the few other things. I also picked up the missing stud finder new and then dh put up tge shelves that were in ds26 room. In my living room.

All of those were on my big project list. Casper got a walk and a visit while we were all outside and an extra bone so.I could work on some grooming on him again.

ah, Lauralind, it sounds like a very productive day! That kind of day feels so good - and is generally so rare when caregiving intrudes on so much of our lives.
My mother had a good day in physical therapy - she walked 15 feet! the PT was impressed. I am happy that she was able to do that - but unhappy that she now thinks she can come home and live. By magic she will be 80 again, or at least do what she could do then......
I have kept up on laundry,
brought recycling to church,
picked up medications for mother,
dropped of dog things at the animal shelter,
spent 4 1/2 hours with mother at the nursing home, (seemed like longer)
did errand at Hallmark store - sympathy cards,
bought liquid for peony fungus and sprayed them, taken out the garbage,
folded 1 lol.
Time to get ready for bed, and read more of the book that kept me awake and interested until wee hours last night. ...

She is quite a character, and good company, Gma. That is great news that your dmother continues to improve in strength.
It must have been hard to handle the little dog's old possessions.
Enjoy your book!

Lauralind, you have made great progress. You needed a victory to move forward on your projects, and I'm so glad that you received some help with it.

I am almost completely finished hanging the laundry. I need to push myself a little more, because I am feeling ready for bed. I will sleep well tonight, LOL.

And that's me done for today. See you tomorrow!

Monday
Benedryl/food for dog
Put away dry tshirt. Some still feel clammy, so hung them around the apartment.
Put away laundry from big drying rack. Left the rack up as I hope to get laundry done today.
Took advantage of the fact that almost all of the good cutlery is in the dw waiting to be put away. Wiped out the cutlery containers for that side of the cutlery drawer.
Swapped out dish cloths.
Started filling dish basin. Frantic search for dish detergent. Found it clipped to the inaccessible part of the dw cart. Pulled out dw cart, which will allow me to put those dishes away.
Washed out water bottles and coffee maker parts.
Wiped down accessible surfaces
Washed some containers
Put pasta pot and strainer in to soak
Put away the dishes and cutlery from the dw.
Germane came to the kitchen wanting her treat food because that’s how it works on work days. I wanted to keep my hands clean and dry so that I could keep putting dishes away.
Germane peed on her pee pad and tried various strategies to draw my attention to her accomplishment so that she could get her reward. She did, eventually, after the dishes were put away. Twice, as an apology for the wait.
Relaxed, listened to an audio book
Gave Germane her Apoquel
Made lunch (rice, mushrooms, vegetables.) Used up the the last of the artichoke.
Showered/washed hair
Took Germane out for a carry. She was enthusiastic about walking, but started dragging her hind legs on the way home, so back to carrying
Brought up the mail
Laid claim to the washing machines on our floor and started the wash.
Germane came to the laundry room with me, to my surprise
Flipped laundry
Listened to Shakespear and Hathaway while I took a rest
Hung the tshirts
Brought laundry back
Folded/put away the dry laundry
Hung the remaining part of the dryer load.
There wasn’t much, so hung the delicates on the same drying rack.
Put away last week’s laundry from the small rack
Put on a pot of coffee
Folded up the purse shopping bag into its little sleeve and put it in my purse
Put away the small drying rack
Last meds for Germane
Clean up after Germane
Kibble and fresh water for Germane
