Happy Birthday to the Twins!
Ramblin', we will be thinking of you with surgery. So very glad it will be relatively quick. Hope it is effective and makes things better for you.
Oh, Cathy, a break of glass is bad enough without things in the container. yipes.
Feel better, Nancy.
This week I've been getting back on the habit-tracker train. Circular nutrition one looks good with 19 out of 24 checkmarks yesterday. Household one is slowly building up.
Laundry in spinning now. Clean and declutter happening. I watered a violet. Not really allowed to touch and I sort of did... .. washed my hands with a vengeance afterward!

Thanks for the well wishes.
I wore a night gown after my walk ~ to remember to take it easy today.
Showered and put it back on. Just now put on PJ' pants carpi length,
I did get a few things done not very fast however.
Me not mowing today however good call as it's hot and windy outside now.
I did mark and cut off pants to pin and hem that is in process resting
between each part.
I did get some notes down on paper from a book.
Listened to a podcast DD recommended to me.
Soup for dinner will be a hit it's cool enough inside for that.
I am feeling better yea.

I can't even get this much sewing done, Nancy, but you do inspire me, especially the "resting between each part" part. (smile)
Laundry is done through to put-away.
Ddolder and I have been texting because she's been on her once-a-week in-person day at work and is in a common cubicle, meaning used by a different person each time. She sent me photos. Looks very boring, not a personal item in sight, not even someone's pencil. I suggested a briefcase with a mini-clothesline of copies of children's artwork and photos, a couple thumbtacks. Tada, portable personal decorating.

Declutter happened today by focusing on 2 shelves. About half the items were not returned, which gave room to organize some other things that needed a space to call their home. Developing a declutter mindset is becoming easier the more I practice it. I keep repeating the same question....if the house burned down, would I remember we had this item and need to replace it?
First of the month financial tasks were accomplished.
Several weekly tasks happened. Most of them were to do quick maintenance on previously decluttered/deep cleaned areas. It is soo much easier to keep an area clean with just a few minutes of focused effort each week. As I repeatedly deep clean these areas, I keep finding more things to declutter.

I moved the mason jars down to the desk. Some of the glass must have just turned to powder when it hit the desk.
I have washed all of the pots and pans. Dishwasher got emptied and there are dishes to go into it. I also washed all the large utensils.

That's scary when glass scattrers so much. I really hope you found it all but what a way to start the day. I've had days like that.
I think I did ok today. Wasn't major but I had so many clean things in the kitchen to just put away. And general straighten turned into taking my mini plant shelf back outside and rearrange a couple things and it looks a lot better. A good ladies group meeting. Errands and some weeding at dad's in the greenhouse. In all a good productive couple days off. Much better after a few discount days.
