The new fridge is so much bigger, Helian! I can see everything that's in there, so nothing gets hidden.
The challenge now will be to not over- buy fresh produce. 
Laura, that's a very difficult position to be in. IMHO, you should definitely take some time for yourself, to keep up with your responsibilities at home. Sorry about the bird, but, according to my vet, birds go into shock very easily and often die from that, so it's highly likely the little bird would have died from shock anyway.
I'm sitting in my garden enjoying the evening sun, now it's cooled down to a comfortable level. I've watered the borders, and some things are starting to perk up already
I made peanut butter cookies this afternoon, as they cook very quickly, so I didn't need the oven on for too long. DH is back and cooking jambalaya for supper. Apparently he had a very nice time with DBIL today. I still need to put the hose away and work on one of my listings for eBay. I don't sell stuff on there very often, as it's a lot of work, but it's supposed nto be hot again tomorrow, so there should be another chance then to work on it, as DH is out again, so I don't have to cook lunch.
