Re: Ta Da! It's Tuesday PWYC
I have body work, aka myofascial massage at ten a.m. and my workout at two, so today I'm going to be out of the house more than the last two days. While I'm out this afternoon, need to stop by the temple for cemetery stuff.
I didn't make my list last night. Need to get on that but right now my head is about to explode with dh home and ddog barking and needing to be out of the house in 45 minutes. And sneezing repeatedly. I'm hoping I can extend my run of productive days - the last two have felt good and I still have energy to get stuff done. So we'll see what the day brings.

Love it!
thank you d twins!
enjoy your workout and massage good for you!
have a great day to you and everyone
I can feel my ADHD fog lifting.
I have had it for 2 weeks - it's usually how it runs.
mom has a dr. appointment that we have to leave for at 10:30 am.
I have been worried about mom talking in her 1/2 sleep. d mom in law did that before she died. I can just give her a good life. keeping that in my mind instead of worrying.
She had a great day yesterday - lots of time outside, 3 professionals came and for one of those we sat in the shade of the garden having fruit and water. dh got her French fries - she loves mcd French fries and considering she ate so healthy all her life that it amazes me how much she likes the fries.
so far dishes are washing themselves
some put away
pulled moms breakfast
d helper is here getting her up and dressed.

Re: Ta Da! It's Tuesday PWYC
Thank you for starting us off today Twins' Mom!
I've been puttering. No wind earlier meant I could burn the one bag of cardboard that I have. I need to get more large paper sacks for putting the burnables into.
Dh had bloodwork. He wasn't too early but they still told him to come back in 5 minutes. So he went and sat down. They called him up to the desk only to tell him to go sit down again. Thankfully he didn't get into one of his snits and leave this time. I think he knew I would be irked if he came home again like the last time. I did offer to go with him, but he declined.
I have to go on the search for either tortellini or ravioli for supper. Dh wants the "fresh stuff, not the frozen stuff". I'll go out later to look for it. I want to get the dishwasher emptied and refilled before I go. We had a water delivery yesterday.
Today is yet another scorcher with a bad air quality number.
I've also cleaned one litter box so far, along with the compost bin. Bathroom, bedroom and living room garbage has been dealt with.

Good morning
Twins - Thank you for the start. You have another busy day ahead.
I didn't finish all the things I wanted to do yesterday because life happened. There was many hours of extra people in the house that got me off my groove. It is a good type of social interaction but it does take me off my game.
We frequently get asked by friends our age "So what do you do all day?" Many of these friends choose to hire their work done (yard, cleaning, grocery shopping, food delivery, etc) and I applaud those decisions 10000% However, these friends have lost the understanding of how much time it takes to do those things. The hours in my day are packed full by the time I do all those things, plus raising teens, plus gardening. I enjoy doing these everyday things and the normalcy of doing them to the best of my ability brings me satisfaction and joy. I suspect there will most likely come a time when i can't do them and will be forced to hire someone else to do them. If and when that time comes, I will be grateful to have those options.

Dh is outside weed whacking the patio. Grrr... it's far too hot, but he's insisting on doing it. He's already grumpy. Maybe he'll come inside and lay down on the bed and fall asleep and wake up not as grumpy. Oh well....

Re: Ta Da! It's Tuesday PWYC
Home from body work. Don't know that I feel a whole lot better, still feeling cramped up in lower back. Stretching and workout later will help, I'm sure.
Dh was going out for lunch. I'm not sure if he's coming back through after his lunch, but he said that later he's having drinks and maybe dinner with a former coworker and a "wholesale," that is, a fund representative. So I'm off the hook for cooking something substantial. I think I might stop at Publix for a salad later and beef it up with additional chicken? (What else do I need from Publix while I'm there?)
The trouble with days like today is that I never develop much momentum. I'm home, will need to prep for workout in a little more than an hour. Need to finish a.m. routine first up, also desk day thing of checking balances/transactions on credit cards and bank accounts (mine, HOA, cemetery.)

Re: Ta Da! It's Tuesday PWYC
Afternoon ya'll...
I didn't sleep very well last night. Went to the beach on Sunday and coated my body with bug spray before I left the house and reapplied every time I got out of the water. Sand fleas started showing up after I got home and had my hot shower. Then last night more made an appearance on my upper legs, butt, hiney, under my boobs and in my crotch area. Am taking Benadryl plus some steroids that I found. Can't wear any clothes because the bites itch and hurt so much. Won't be going back to the beach anytime soon...will wait til those nasty critters go away.
However I did go to my morning exercise class and then to a new one with my friends. Its called Fitness Drumming. A bunch of women, an exercise ball placed on top of a tub and a pair of drumsticks. We rocked out to music for an hour beating the ball and the tub with our drumsticks in patterns lead by an instructor. We had a blast ans some of the women had lighted drum sticks as well. If it sounds interesting to you or you're just curious google Fitness Drumming... Its all over You Tub and I just ordered my glow in the dark. Most fun I've had in a long time and my friends and I are already signed up for the next 4 weeks! Who knew???
Twins... here's something interesting. Long ago my g-mother and her friend went antiquing during the depression and bought furniture off of people porches. Among the things she purchased were two stitch samplers that she gave to me and hung on my wall when I was growing up. In later years I took them where ever I went and they hung in many of my homes.
I was watching Antique Road show the other day and someone brought in a sampler. I was surprise by what it was worth. One thing that made it so valuable was alot of the stitching was done with black thread, which was very difficult to make. I pulled out my samplers and discovered bot of mine have black threads in them. Then it occurred to me that the girls who made the sampler put their names on it and the year it was made.
Being curious I went to Ancestry and put both girls in the search engine and got a hit for both. I knew their ages because they had stitched the year the samplers were made. I found their direct ancestors and sent them a message to them about the samplers...No one has answered yet, but it only been two days and I can tell by these peoples history, they aren't overly active on the site. Time will tell
Einstein is doing his job and I have some laundry going. Later today I need to go to the pharmacy for Sweetie and then make a quick grocery stop. I am not looking forwards to getting dressed!

How interesting, Ramblin! I love stories like that, I assume you wouldn't want to give them up, though? Maybe offer them photos of samplers? What year was the needleworker born?
-kitchen counters cleared
-finished morning oral care (This finishes what I can of a.m. routine, dh walked ddog, and I'm s2s-ing after workout)
-meds containers refilled
-ordered Calcium/vit D supplement from CVS and used as many of their coupons as I could. Free shipping too and I don't have to stop in a crowded parking lot.
-checked to be sure I have more multivitamins, I run out next week
-started a load of laundry to hang up, am waiting another day on dark clothes - mostly dh's
-made some adjustments on location of porch furniture - was all moved yesterday to clean that rug
-checked dog invisible fence collar, it is working
-pre workout snack of peanut butter (no sugar) on keto bread.
I might get sheets from upstairs to wash today instead of tomorrow. I'll have dcleaning lady put them back on Thursday. Going to take comforter from upstairs and have it professionally cleaned too, hopefully this week. Tomorrow a.m. I'm taking my car for servicing at 9 a.m.
I need to change clothes for workout next.
