Wow, Harriet, not sure I want to review some of those dreams! The ones where I haven't filled out a time report while working in public accounting? Or can't remember where the class is for the final exam?

Dh has gone to the grocery for me and to Home Depot or Lowes to buy a piece of plywood and have it cut to size for the back a bookcase upstairs. I think I might have used spray paint on it when it was originally painted? The whole things needs a bit of sanding then a coat of primer and repainting, then I can eventually get it loaded back up. DH may be in a snit because I told him grocery list was ready and that rain had stopped if he wanted to walk dog. He left without walking the dog, and called to question me about the cost of buying two half-gallons of milk instead of a gallon. (Because the door of the refrigerator won't hold a gallon of milk, his almond milk, coffee creamer and iced coffee mix. Also because I'm the only one who drinks it and there's less chance of it going bad.) Eye roll here.

This has been sitting awhile. I just put some Stamping Up cardstock on Facebook and sold it for $25 plus the cost of shipping it.

Next up?

Got paid for the cardstock so I packed it and took to post office to drop off. I also dropped a return at the UPS store while I was out. In between I purged and wiped out the refrigerator, did not do doors etc. and there's an area of the meat/deli drawer that it appears must be disassembled for cleaning? I'll investigate another time. I assume with caterers they will be putting away any leftovers in the refrigerator, so would be nice to have it looking good. I don't clean it enough. Might need another wiping out by next weekend, but it's better than it was now.

Making my list for tomorrow. We're out for dinner with the friends who went to the beach with us. I need to get in the shower now that I've walked the dog.

Happy Anniversary Lady M and DH!

Hi everyone. No rain here yet today, but my weather app says there is rain in the area. It has been hot, muggy and overcast all day.

I usually can see everything that needs put away just fine as I walk past it! :o Eventually it is dealt with. Today I did two loads of laundry. The whites I've hung up to dry are almost dry. I still have to put the other clean clothes away. Will do that this evening when I go upstairs.

My youngest dgrson, D, and his girl are getting married this evening. Ceremony starts at 6 p.m. I wish I could be there. However, his dsister, K, is going to record everything, and it will be on YT live so we here can all watch. Ddil has a brother and his dfamily living in Canada, so I'm sure they will be watching also.

I was just called to supper. Dson made tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, so I will see you all soon again! :)

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary LadyM and Lord M!

Today DH decided he wanted to sort out the desk in the spare room - take the old desk down to the garage and then bring up the new -to- him desk and cabinet. He's worked really hard (I am not impressed that he pick a WHITE table top -what was he thinking? It will show every mark) and I managed to get in and do a deep clean of those areas once everything was out of the way. The new desk and cabinet are now instalked, but, as I suspected, DH has too much "stuff" to fit in the cabinet. I have suggested adding another shelf inside to make better use of the space , and also decluttering!

Apart from running up and downstairs to clean, I've made banana bread, run the hoover round d downstairs, prepped lunch for tomorrow and had some time in the garden.

I washed out the two pieces of fabric they've been drying on the deck.
Mostly dry brought them in b/c of the wind was blowing them around so they can dry inside.
I'm sure it will dry inside quickly.

I listened to a writing class, will need to listen to the last part again
b/c I dozed off.

Had lunch.
Neighbors down the way are parking a car here for a bit.

I got the towels folded.
Glad it's not too hot.

Rewatched a Di Vinci show for a refresher before lunch.

Looked at an art insp. book.

Sunny, congratulations to your family on D's wedding this evening. Enjoy watching - have tissues!

I would join those who say they can't always see what needs to be decluttered, although I can see the day's "footprints", yes.

Anyone surprised that the delivery is delayed? Of course not. Hoping it will only be by a day.

Kittykatt, thank goodness you were able to get in there and do a deep clean when large furniture was moved out. I absolutely hate it when someone is exchanging furniture or appliances and doesn't realize that cleaning AT THAT MOMENT would make a world of difference.

HRH went out for another quick grocery trip today when we realized we didn't get almond milk. Twins', I noticed you mentioned your dh keeps it on hand, too. We can't get through a day without, it seems, lol.
