I have a busy week going and am in management mode. Lists, check offs, window washers, workouts, oh my! What's happening in the village and how do you get through it all?

Here we go, like a roller coaster taking off.

Hi Twins' Mom! Thank youfor starting us off this morning!

It's a busier week than usual for us. Dh has 2 doctor's appointments. Now that he is 65 both doctors want to change most of his prescriptions. I also have to make a trip to a tiny town south of us to drop off a bunch of donations and I also have to drop into an office to pick up some paperwork. That paperwork needs to be taken to 2 separate places. If we are lucky I can "kill" 2 birds with 1 stone later this week. Dh wants direct deposit with a government cheque (check) so that will have to be dealt with this week.

Dh has requested mac and cheese from a box for tonight's supper to go along with a zucchini.

I have window washers coming this a.m., soon! I'm supposed to take things off windowsills and open up blinds, etc. I'm not so happy with these people to begin with - seems like last window washers I used took off and cleaned screens, cleaned window sashes, etc. as part of washing windows, this company has an extra charge for it so I'm spending a fortune. But it's been way too long since they've all been cleaned so here we go.

I have my workout at two today, and I'm not even sure what else I am trying for today. A and V are home from trip and came for an early supper last night. I never got around to my list for the week and for today so I'm behind already. Dh will be out this a.m. later, he's playing golf and has a golf lesson/evaluation this afternoon. I gotta get going!

Trainer didn't show for dh for 6 a.m. workout this morning, he said he walked on treadmill and lifted some, but stopped at a Circle K for a muffin with sausage, egg, and cheese, and brought me one. I ate it immediately but it may leave me feeling like a slug.

Hi, Twins' and Cathy and all!

My roller coaster has included several deliveries this a.m. No, still not the long-awaited bday present - . A grocery order came and has been put away. An order of clothing for myself - socks and a shirt - also arrived so I need to get that shirt out and make sure it doesn't need to be ironed, get dark laundry ready to toss in the new socks.

I can look through the clear bag of the two oranges and see that one of them has a significant dark/black spot.
I can look through the clear bag of the corn and see that one of them looks eaten by pests and rotten.

HRH and I really cannot wait until the "all clear" to do our own grocery shopping. He goes in briefly alone when we are missing only a few things, and that's about all the produce we can have "eyes on" before we pay for it. I don't think this is a very well-known problem among folks who know someone who's immune compromised, but it is costly and frustrating, I'll tell ya!

An old friend of HRH's and his much younger wife (my older kids' age), who is a very marginal old acquaintance of mine who has no filter (bless her heart) have said they want to visit, maybe this weekend. This is a quandary for HRH. He hasn't heard from these folks in ages but doesn't want to be rude, would enjoy time with his friend. They have no idea that I've been quarantined or even sick, and telling the wife will probably be telling a lot of others we also haven't touched base with in a long time. On the other hand, for me, I see this as a chance for HRH to get together with a male pal and hang out, which I believe he needs. However he handles this, I'm up for it. Frankly, his once-large assortment of friends has dwindled with ill health, some have moved to be close to their children, and some have died. He was always the more social of the two of us.

A lot to plan for tomorrow's roller coaster - long, long day of medical, then home to rest up before going to mini-party for dgs, just for cake.

Managing Monday? Yup. Dh is off this weekend. Dad's tractor is sitting outside. I think he's getting the other excavator as well so we can dig in the drainage ditches we need before we landscape the corner again. Plus I am semi mid rearrange in my living room and such. It's a mess in here cause we moved the desk out. I really need to clean the rug again but we'll see. Cords everywhere and I need to get rid of the plastic chair protector piece I don't need it.

Harriet I hope you can navigate seeing your friends. It would be good to start connecting again when it's safe. How frustrating the veggies are visibly bad when you get them delivered.

Windows are desperately needing cleaning here too. That is one project that goes on the list and never done.

I had ear drainage today a good thing hoping this helps me feel better and be more positive to be around.
And want to be around others.
I think my "want to" has been broken.

On the positive note!
It's raining and has been for an hour and is supposed to all morning! YEA!!!
So glad b/c of the fires all around here out west we so needed it!

Hand cramp has me doing qt a bit differently & doing it in segments of time.
No plans today except for clean up before great grand son comes tomorrow afternoon.

DD & Dson are on the outs. So yesterday was a day devoted to a lot of prayer.
They both have legitimate issues with the other it boils down to growing up and adulting
with family kids and time management, as well as unrealistic expectations. I.M.O.

I can't believe how fast these guys are, I think insides of windows are done already and I can see this taking less time than I expected.

And done in two hours. It would have taken me eons to do it all. Most the windows tilt but a few don't. The biggest one, which faces west, always seems to have streaks when I do it, especially when the sun starts setting. Now to put things back together. I'm hoping I can persuade dh that his "bookshelf" on the window sill could go upstairs to his office, where he has plenty of bookshelf space.

I have had a nasty cold since Thursday and just managed to crawl out of bed for a while.

Harriet… can’t your dh tell his friend you just came down with a cold and you aren’t feeling well without going into detail and postpone the visit for another time. Feel free to use my nasty summer cold as an excuse.

I'm sitting in waiting room for DD14 to be called into the lab for blood work. Neither one of us remember if she has had blood drawn before. I explained the process to her in detail with hopes those details will give her the ability to cope with being touched by a stranger. The needle doesn't scare her but the possibility of being touched gives her stress.

We will go out to eat breakfast afterwards. Dd49 has requested DD14 come stay with her for a couple weeks before school starts. . I am doubtful of the visit lasting that long. The last visit was less than 48 hours long and then DD49 abruptly changed her mind and brought DD14 home.

Progress made. Roomba bag changed and it's running. Put back things on windowsills that I could. Need dh to help rehang a piece of art glass in bathroom window. (It partially blocks view, neighbor's window is up high and I think with angle and art nothing is visible.) Washed/dusted things that go back, adjusted blinds all around. Thinking about rest of the week and what dcleaning lady can do. Rescheduled my body work to tomorrow afternoon instead of morning so I can work on porch in morning, while it's supposedly cooler, ha ha.

Called re getting CPAP supplies and since I changed to Medicare I need new order from sleep doc/nurse practitioner to get supplies. Ugh. I can wait, but I'm having trouble with CPAP machine and was wanting to replace things before I called to try to troubleshoot. Ugh.

I need to eat something soon and need to be out the door to workout in an hour.
