LAURLIND, do you have a place for your vacuum cleaner? perhaps you are so eager to get to the next project that you don't quite finish the one you are on - meaning that "the job's not over until the paperwork is done" (think on the toilet as one cartoon I saw showed). I'm guilty of the same thing - also don't have a really good place to keep my vacuum. Always so much to do.

KITTYKATT, that is so much information that I didn't konw about comets. dfBS is very interested in the philosophy of physics, the relationship between "spirit" and matter, the condensing of atoms to make visible matter, but when they are spread out we cannot see them so we call this spirit or invisible. She thinks I'm bright, but that is conceptually way beyond what I am familiar with! She spent time studying in India (brought students there for study abroad experience) and at Oxford for herself. She is brilliant, but knows little about her body. That is what I am using my nursing knowledge to teach her. Good to get rid of desk and chair!

HELIAN, I have a hybrid sedan. It has a spare tire in the trunk. That was an awful experience for all of you. I wonder why the tire just popped! And so loudly. She did avoid the expense of having it towed.

L.ANN, you are having a good week w/ dgd12, and I hope LittleBit is having a good time at Day Camp. Who sponsors the day camp? Is it church, school, or community? And Friday you have everyone, then you exchange granddaughter for grandson. What is a cat cafe?

We didn't get shopping for shoes or anything else yesterday. Mom was tired, napping in the afternoon. It was her bath evening. She also had a shmpoo. So I went over there about 9pm and set her hair, because she has a dr appointment today. Her hair does need rollers to look nice. I hope we can go shopping today after the dr appointment. We'll probably go to Baker's Square to eat for supper, as they have free pie on Wednesday, if you order a meal and beverage. She fell again last night after I left. I had asked the staff to go to put her to bed, let them know I was leaving. But I dn't know ho long they waited to do that.

Waving to all!
I'm alive! But it's not an easy week. Lots of work at payroll and the kids are leaving for the scout camp on Saturday so there's lists of things to buy and get done before that too! And of course, it doesn't help that I leave home at 6:45 a.m. and get back at 6:30pm and it's hot and only the subway and the train have AC, so during the walks from one place to another and waiting I am out in the scorching heat... But enough complaining, that is not getting things done!

I'm glad you have a spare tire in your hybrid, Gma! I was going to clarify earlier that I can only vouch for this model of hybrid not having a spare tire. I didn't know if that was true for all -- and now I know it's not! We think she ran over something in the road. Everyone who felt the hole (like dh) said that it was large. Gma, could you find your mother some sleek-looking travel mug to cut down on your mother's hot chocolate spills? You know, something that looks nice so it's not like you're handing her a sippy cup.
A cat cafe is a cafe where you can order coffee and food, but it has rescue cats loose in the cafe that you can pet. So, people generally can hang out with cats, but for the cats it raises their visibility. Someone who is thinking about adopting can meet the cats to see if they fall in love with one, and visitors see cats that needs homes and might mention a good fit to friends who are thinking about adopting. We had a cat cafe in my city that made the best vegan tuna sandwiches.
Your poor dmother, falling. Luckily, she is seeing the doctor today so he can check her for injury. You do so much for her, but you can't be there every minute.

I remember the Samoyds at the kennel in spring. We would pull strings of cotton batten undercoat from them. And then burn it in the barrel. You don't forget that smell in a hurry, LOL.

Hi, trissie. You are doing great at preparing your dkids for life.

I wasted too much time this morning bra shopping online. I really need a couple of decent bras, but have not found anything in the stores I normally shop at. I thought that I would check out WalMart's selection from their web site, but they don't have a single one listed. I'm sure that they sell them, just not online. I keep seeing these fabulous offers from Facebook ads for bras that look practical, but I'm suspicious of buying things from web sites when I don't know the vendor. Then I hit on the idea of going straight to the Wonder Bra site. They do list their bras at reasonable prices, but the web site was so frustrating to use that in the end I just deleted my cart and unsubscribed. Eventually, I will have to go to WalMart or Penningtons. But, for today, laundry!
