Doggedly he's rather driving us nuts. Mr walnut. He was getting really extreme. We sent him to see what he would do outside for a bit as he hasn't been out much. He explored the yard for a bit and was back at the door. Finally he's crashed under the coffee table.

Ugh. We took on a bigger job than I thought we would do. Took down the panel board on the one wall that hadn't been done yet and hung the last few sheets of drywall. And the guys managed to get the last of the chimney from what must have been a Woodstove before out of the ceiling. Filled that hole too. We won't complete it all but maybe she can get her mil to help. It's almost hung. Dh wants me to mud the first coat but we'll see. I don't know if I have the drive. I should mop floors for her yet but we'll see.

Drywall is something that most people won't attempt, Lauralind. They are lucky to have you!

Was a good time had by all, L.Ann?

Good lunch with retired friends.
Good trip to IKEA. Good help from staff in the store. Lots of traffic, some slow downs. IKEA is in the "city" where tht is normal traffic. I live in a smallish town where the closest thing we have to lots of traffic is on Wednesday nights during Lent, at the 4-way stop on the corner where the Catholic church is to the West, 2 Lutheran churches are to the North, as is a non-denominational church. Or when the high school football game is over on a Friday night.
I'm going to get into the shower and wash my hair.
Tomorrow I have to meet with yard helper at mother's house, stop at the bank to check her balance, and leave to take her to ophthalmology appointment. All before noon! Not my normal morning!
And I got a cruel note from nurse manager saying that the blanket we provided for mother was forbidden. I responded that it was the top on on the list of acceptable ones that was given to me at the last care conference. I am mad.

Gma, I'm glad that you had a good day, but sorry that you came home to that annoying note.

Thnaks for commiserating, doggedly.
I'm heading to bed. And I have sent a message to the Sunbeam company who made the blanket asking for safetly data: specifically, how many fires have there been from this product, how many injuries/ burns, and when were the last ones? Then I will bring that to the NH attention.
