Laura, welcome home! So glad you had a good time away, but IKWYM about being happy to be home. In my experience pots prefer to be watered with a watering can rather than the sprinkler, as that way you can make sure you get under the leaves and right I to the co post. And it gives you a better idea of how much water each pot has had.

Trissie, so glad you've had a wonderful time away with DH, and yourself managing to make real progress round the house with all the DKids are away. That town looks fascinating!
I'm sitting in my front garden, waiting for DH to arrive home. He *should* be arriving any time now, but one never knows with trains!
We had one of my favourite visiting priests for church this morning, and the service finished nearly, so I was able to have a good chat with friends before visiting DF E. She is feeling better than she was, but is frustrated that everything takes her so long. But we had a good chat over our coffee.
Back home, I put a quiche in the oven for my lunch (nor roast today.as DH is away, so I get a week off cooking!
) folded laundry and PA and gave downstairs a good dust and hoover. (There wasn't time before church as Freddie insisted on a walk (he is normally walked after I get back from church and knows it). I've also unloaded the DW, put up my supplements and The Girls' dried food for the week, and tidied the kitchen. And now I'm just sitting very peacefully and enjoying the quiet.
