Wow I did the top edge of the berries behind the shop. The rest I have to go down into the creek. At least maybe those will be more upright? I hope... that hurt the back it didn't want to stand upright for a bit till I laid down on the floor and ouucchh... is it worth it?we'll see after supper it will be cooler. I need sleeves in there.

My goodness, have we ever had 5 pages before?
L.ann, I am reading A Midwife's Tale, by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich. It was one of the reference books listed at the end of A Frozen River. I read that first and wanted to followup with more reading. Ulrich's book includes actual diary entries, and is more report than story. my dfLD is having book club at her house in Sept and has invited me, because of my OB background, so I want to come prepared with knowledge! I am learning from Ulrich's book that Midwives did way more than deliver babies!

I'm home from errands. Got the vacuum bags.

talked to dbro by phone. He had surgery a week ago and is doing well.
Phone call from Mother, "I don't have a car, can you come? I need to get home."
I don't think I am going to do the half hour in my sewing room. I'm tired. Just flip lol to the dryer, then bedtime reading. I was very late in going to sleep last night. Need to make up fo rit today.

How frustrating, helia. Luckily, your house is populated by excellent cooks, so I am sure that an alternative will be found.
