Re: Frog Stone Sunday
Good morning, kittykatt, and thanks for getting us started! Don't think I've ever heard about Frog Stone, but then I am not too familiar with current BBC production!
Big kids should be coming at 6pm, which does give me time to finish the twins' room, and hopefully also fight my way through the laundry. Garden also calls, so I think I will alternate these 3 things, rinse and repeat, with the addition of routines and food in between!

Re: Frog Stone Sunday
Good morning/good afternoon, Trissie and L.Ann!
Wow, Trissie, you're making great progress! Amd what a good idea to alternate tasks!
Enjoy your walk with your friend, L.Ann!
Church was good - I think my reading went ok + I had several older people come.up.afterwards to say their could hear and understand what I was staying,.which I'll take as a compliment!
I also managed to chat with several very useful people after the service, (including the treasurer and the head of the social committee team, about parish Christmas lunch. I'm now feeling much clearer and confident about how we'll handle the money side. And I talked with the lady who's designed the tickets and will be working.on the poster. She since sent me another design, incorporating the small changes one of the clergy team suggested, for me to ok. Lunch is on the oven, and it's a beautiful warm sunny day, so I'm currently sitting in my front garden, within easy reach of the kitchen when needed.

Re: Frog Stone Sunday
Morning all. You are doing well being so organized for the Christmas lunch already kittykat. I'm glad church went well.
Trissie I still can't imagine the whole of your kids being out for 2 weeks. That's a long camp and really good for them. I'm sure the girls room will be much better. It's frustrating how they can't see that mess. Mine never had habits of food in the bedrooms but ds can have all the cups and a bowl or plates in the living room in a day. And if he's doing stuff in the kitchen he can work right on top of other things. Trouble is so can I. And so can my dad when I get in his kitchen. A hard generational habit to break.
Speaking of ds.. gonna have to get on figuring out how to change his summer a bit. Back to routine after being away. But I don't know what happened. He stopped desiring to go to the court. Got him a new basketball after the trip for his testing day and he's hardly used it. He has no desire to help with food like he did. Finding stuff to do. He's gotten into a computer game. It's hard to ask him to do stuff without non caring just don't want to do much. He's not playing all the time but between that and YouTube on his phone. He doesn't seem really unhappy. Just only once in a while he starts chatting about something. I need to look at understanding his diagnosis. I need help to help him find motivation again. I am a little worried cause some of his teammates and such are getting jobs now. He could have a part time job after his birthday. But he might just do like he does with school and some days he just is tired and grumpy and won't go. One should be legit sick to call in at work... of course that might be different with work because our school is such that he knows it he doesn't miss much if he misses a day a week. No commitment necessary. No wonder i have so much trouble with his generation at work. I've given up. Especially the boys... they work ok if given a task but don't expect much if they have to figure out what they should be doing. I've taken to giving a to do list.
Anyway I wonder if I can get him interested today. I have to clean up the kitchen again this morning. Today is church in the park. Outdoor combined service. Then after I should go get the rest of the berries I didn't finish. Then see if I can get him helping make jam. If I can make myself that motivated....
Priority list
Basic routines
Kitchen clean
Church has no need to be early and lunch after
Finish picking berries
Make sure I have stuff for jam
Make jam with ds Help?
Some music practice just cause
Today's tada list
Soak in tub instead of shower
S&s both baths
Fold laundry switch other load
Tidy laundry room and master bedroom some
Find jars and lids to add to dw
Empty and reload dw
Finish tidying kitchen all the way
Wash pans and such
