blessed, best wishes today on your dmother's return from hospital.
Vitamins and supplements
(taken off of them during treatment)
Vitamin D (not really a vitamin - hormone) 2,000 IU/day
Evening Primrose Oil 1,000 mg/day
Vitamin B-12 has been 1,000 mg twice a week, but during the time since hospital the blood level of it went mysteriously high so I've cut back. We'll see. Maybe not processing well ... ..
Also, every few days I have 1/2 serving of Kachava in my greens/fruits smoothie, and it has a large variety of supplemental natural foods, powdered. Interestingly, the dieticians encouraged me to keep having this during treatments. I continue to wonder, though, if one hand knew what the other was doing on that - were they assuming it was just a protein powder and missing the point.
HRH was in the mood to join me in kitchen organizing today, so a lot has gotten done. He can reach cabinets I can't manage as well.
He's discovered that our toaster needs replacing. I almost never use it - he's about the only one. So, with microwave, that's two small appliance purchases that we'll need to bite the bullet on soon. I really want to keep organizing, including the mud room, before purchases, in case we decide to position things differently. That might affect the choices we make.

Home from workout and errands. CVS for a prescription, then gassed the car, went to P.O. for HOA, picked up Sentinel for ddog, had the car washed and dropped off the HOA check for the teen that takes care of the pool. Dh walked ddog. Dh will head out to bowl tonight soon, and I'll go back upstairs to play with some craft pretties.

Re: Thurday's Thread PWYC
So delighted to have a visit from dgsonC, who came over as soon as he got home from school, yay. He is full of news and a fresh perspective of someone who has spent several years away from physical classrooms. Seven classes (my goodness) with a 20 min homeroom break after 3, a 30-min lunch break after the 4th. He seems very pleased on the whole, likes at least 5 of the teachers right from the introduction, for instance, and is agreeable that the other 2 may just be nervous at first like he is. He's most concerned about a teacher who will be keeping a visual at the front of the classroom to pit two different time-periods of the same class against each other, with demerits, etc. He was astonished by that, and wanted to ask how that is any different from gossip. Hmmm ... .. Says it seems like the teacher will not be "on his side" or someone in whom to confide.
Already he has made two friends and I told him, really, that's pretty good for a first day. He turned down any treats or foods from my kitchen and is happy with what he already has to pack. Today he had strawberries, grapes, blueberries and a bologna sandwich. lol. For English, he must read 5 books but came home unable to remember the names of a single one. Age appropriate, but he's a good reader like his Mom - he'll be fine.
Got the hand-held scrubber recharged overnight (whew, HRH found a cord that fit), and scrubbed half the double sink.

Re: Thursday's Thread PWYC
Harriet that is great news!
I have some good news too a dead branch came out of the tree in front I've been wondering what to do about it was off but hung
up on other limbs,., . I was inside and heard a thud... glad for that... got it swept away from the driving zone to the side of the
driveway that's rarely used. Will deal with it later. 3" to 4" around not very long 4 to 5 feet maybe but shattered and broke
when it fell. Nothing was damaged. Tried to break one branch off but it was too stout so will deal with that later. I'll need some leverage
I think. Doggo was inside with me and we gazed out the window to see what made that noise. It is not that breezy out today like it was yesterday.
-----
Heard sirens there is another fire 10 mile up river they are using air support on it now with water tanker planes.
Had dinner now to clean up after that.

Got my hair trimmed today, picked up Dgd after school, went back for dgs when football was over at 4:30, took them home, went home and took a nap.
I’m eating supper now.

Oy. I am needing to sit on my hands to keep from sending the temple an email I might regret. Financial mismanagement, or at least accounting issues that I shouldn't have to explain. OTOH, I might not regret sending that email.

((Twins')) Here are some thinking points you don't need, since you are sharp on these things. Simplicity, clarity. Not too long. Think a while, but no need to overthink. What would likely happen if you did send. What would likely happen if you didn't. How can the language be kept from coming back to bite? How can the language keep your options open?

LOL, Harriet. I read it to dh when he got home, he had me take out one sentence and I sent it. Already got back an "answer" which was that someone told her to do it.
Anyway, I was awake at 5:30 this a.m. and I don't think I ever got back to sleep. I finally got up at 6:30 and should be sleeping now. I'm too disturbed, tho.

Twins', think of craft pretties and plan them as you fall asleep.
My appts have been changed for tomorrow but I can't prove it - I was just sure I had 3 and now have 2. Oh, well, I've done the early check-in and HRH is charging his tablet just in case. Finally results came in from the other day and it says all within normal range, although there is a whole page of results and you have to search for that sentence. Ugh. Funnily enough, it says "I" had an appt in a faraway city 2 days ago. It was an appt at a lab, lol. So I don't think they had all of me.
We leave earlier, too, at 9 or so. HRH is worried now that some schools may be in session, that we'll have difficult traffic. I doubt it.

Re: Thursday's Thread PWYC
I hope everything goes well tomorrow, Harriet.
I hope things go well for your dgs, also, with the teachers he's unsure of.
I have spent a LONG time just watching videos on the computer and scrolling through FB. Have any of you heard of Leanne Morgan? She has a new show on Netflix (which I don't have) and she is from Knoxville, TN. I think she is hilarious. I've also watched a lot of George Strait interviews, stories.
Mainly just wasting time.
I have also talked myself out of calling the chiropractor about my shoulder. I just feel really nervous about this.I know dh, DS, and ddil all consider this man something of a miracle worker... but people have been paralyzed at the chiropractor's office! (No, not anyone I know... I know I'm probably being crazy.) But I'm thinking, if it's a small percentage of people who have problems, well, my family has had 3 out of 4 people have good experiences... seems like I might be due to be the 1/4 that has a bad experience. Also, even with insurance, it's another on-going expense, and once I get started with him, it will be hard to stop. DS and DDIL have had monthly appointments since forever it seems. and dh did when he was living. I may try to get in with the massage lady. AND I am going to quit carrying my heavy purse!
I'm sorry you're having a rough night, Twins. But I think it was fine for you to send the email, especially after you got your dh's input on it.
Nancy, it's good the tree limb didn't fall ON something or someone. And I hope the fires don't get any closer to you!
I hope everything went well with your dmom's return home, blessed.
Someone asked about supplements? I take a women's multivitamin, calcium, B-12, along with a Rx pill -- Bentyl -- which is supposed to help with my over-active stomach -- and a probiotic, Phillips Colon Health... and 10 mg Paxil daily and a 24 hour allergy pill every other day. And I still take my allergy shots weekly.
I need to go to the drug store tomorrow.
I hope you all have a great day tomorrow!
