RR - it sounds like you have found a very knowledgeable doctor to treat the migraines. I have never heard of sinus migrains either.

DSis called for a 35 minute chat while she was driving the interstate to the big city. We aren't super close but have learned how to have a civil relationship and get along without drama. Today would have been our DDad's 95th birthday. He died 13 years ago at 82 years old. We talked how his dad (our paternal grandfather) lived until 97.
I found it very interesting that DSis is also having exact hip pain that I am. We both have the exact same symptoms. We are choosing to treat it differently. I wonder how our different treatments of the same symptoms will play out over the next few months/years.
We caught up on our kids and grandkids doings. It was good to talk with her.

DS17 took DH to the co-op to get a new battery for the zero-turn mower and also filled up a 5-gallon gas can. DH enjoyed chatting with everyone at the co-op. While he doesn't remember their names, he recalls bits and pieces of their shared life experiences from decades ago.

Now DH is inside because of the heat index. Speaking of heat....our forecast for next week predicts a 20 DEGREE DROP in temps!! We will be in mid 80's next week. Bring it!

Our ready-to-eat stash is empty. I have pulled 6 things out of the freezer to thaw.
Next up - fill the instant pot with potatoes

blessed, I wonder if she needs iron? My dmother was prescribed it.

Glad to hear your doctor is okay with how you're healing, Ramblin'. I have not heard of what you're talking about. I have heard that some people who first believe they've had a migraine have actually experienced sinus pain. I suppose it's all very close together, after all. I do remember lying in bed with miserable migraines sometimes, hiding from the light at the window, and thinking my temples needed some hand pressure. But even though that would feel better, it would last less than a minute until you realize it's not actually affecting the pain. My dcousin's dd has been diagnosed with migraines that are vision-related only, with aura and affected sight, but no pain.

Speaking of being back to a hair color, I am amused to be "back" to my dmother's, lol. I do have to admit that I see, lately, some ladies with salt-and-pepper who let it go longish and look rather striking, but I imagine they do rather a lot of work to get soft curls. In recent years I've been able to have a Phyllis Diller look effortlessly, so I have a feeling that gray AND Phyllis Diller will not be pleasing. My dmother used to use the word "straw" to describe how her hair could feel to her if she didn't try to put in some curl, so HRH may need to get used to seeing curlers?

I may never cut my hair again. It's just so happy to be here, as lucylee says of her dgrandson. I told HRH it is getting to a length (if you can call it length) at which someone might say I've had a cut that looks like I meant to do that, but really shouldn't have.

I've got the donwannas today, after needing to be out earlier. In fact, I feel like I could take a nap but will try to resist.

There's a new baby next door, a boy, so I'll make a card. And a new baby, a girl, down the street too.

I sat down to evaluate where I was in the food preparation process. I just realized I never did step #1....putting the potatoes into the instant pot. Harrumph.

I got sidetracked by an experiment that turned out really well (IMHO). I saw someone online dredge sliced dill pickles in panko seasoning and air fry them, so I decided to give it a try. I’d rate them a 9 out of 10. I wasn’t following a recipe and just improvised. I placed the dill pickles on paper towels to dry a bit before coating them in panko crumbs. Next time, I’ll make sure to turn the pickle slices over and dry both sides before starting. And there will definitely be a next time!

The ready to eat stash now contains -
** Chicken Burger patties. Hamburger buns are on the counter.
** Zatarins Bourbon rice and chicken
** Pulled pork (made by Jack Daniels)
** A big bowl of green seedless grapes washed and ready to eat
** A big bowl of cherries washed and ready
** Potato Salad
** Mashed potatoes
** Cooked cabbage
** Green salad

I am going to hold off on cooking the potatoes for loaded potato dish. We have plenty of carbs available. I am also holding off on making something with the 2lb of hamburger meat I pulled out of the freezer. I will use it tomorrow to do something.

I finished reading the chapter I started yesterday.
Then went outside to load up the rest of the branches from the pile in the front yard.
I've been working on it have two cans full, now all the cans are full again.
So... I got the folding wagon double sized and put the rest in it and the ones like three
that still need to be cut are on the work station, rest are in the trailer &
will go when I have room and space for em.
Sipping diet beverage to cool off and rest up a bit.
So glad those are out of the front yd. now! Wa-hoot!
Bonus got more steps in getting closer to the goal 89% there yea!

I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight... Dh and I both fell asleep this afternoon.

Surprisingly enough, the Shepherd's pie is in the oven.

I has rained here today, which was nice. Far too brief though.

Is anyone here in the path of Erin?

These sinus migraines, I’m having do not mirror anything like any of my other migraines. No sensitivity to light no sensitivity to sound just facial pain. Especially around my eye sockets and my teeth which hurt the top of my teeth. Also above my eyebrows, so all of that is what happens to me when I get a sinus headache, not migraine.

The Tylenol ibuprofen and also my sinus over-the-counter med seem to have kept much of the pain at bay tomorrow I will go to my exercise class. I can do it in a chair or I can do it standing up so we’ll see what happens. From there, I’ll see how I react to it and if I do all right, I’ll go to my gym on Thursday.

I am anxious to get back to normal. That includes breathing through my nose, so I don’t sound like I have a stuffy nose.

My doctor told me yesterday that many of his patients who have migraines find these sinus migraines are quite normal after that type of procedure I’ve had. Too bad he didn’t let me know that ahead of time.

I’ve been lazy today and haven’t done much around the house. Just trying to get to feel back to myself again. Hopefully tomorrow is a new day and we’ll see what happens.
