I enjoyed the topic today, Kittykatt, and the further geography and nations discussion. My Aunt who married my ddad's just-younger brother during the war was from Devon. My dmother always insisted on my remembering that Aunt S was not just from England, but to be specific and say, "from Devon, England" to be respectful to her love of home. She named my 3 cousins who were born here after her brothers back in Devon - even her daughter. There is a road here named for her by her son, her first and maiden name. She loved knitting baby clothes as gifts and really knitted up a storm.

Costco is recommended by the construction guy doing some work for us, for reasonable prices on appliances and free delivery, which makes his life easier installing them. We might have a dishwasher installed - a pricey endeavor. Been flirting with that idea for a while. Hate to give up the storage space to it but also hate to envision a future without ever having one again.
