Not Monday PWYC - it's Tuesday

Today is not Monday. I repeat, not Monday. This is a short week for many of us because of the holiday yesterday, and today is the traditional start to the fall season, if not by the equinox or thermometer, by custom! Growing up today was the first day of school for me, and still is for many.

How will you make the most of this entry to the season and short week? And confusing calendar today?

Note that we are currently experiencing "false fall" here in terms of temps....

It's a busy day for me and I need to get into the shower. We are driving to a nearby town to review/sign our wills, POAs, healthcare POAs, etc. at 11:30 and at 3 p.m the guy who is doing the organizational study for the temple is coming here to talk about my email last week. Dh will be here but I'll have to muzzle him so I can talk first. I'm sure dh will have something to say also. Dh is out tonight so I'll have some breathing room then. I'm feeling like I still need recovery time. Dh wants to leave here at 10:15 for the 11:30 meeting. (just checked, google says 55 min. trip)

My to-do list for the week is so massive I need to recopy and prioritize and focus on the trip first, then Rosh Hashanah, then the normal things...

I'd love to have some ta-das to show for the day, other than just getting through it.

I have a very long list for today as well. I have already called for a water delivery. I have numerous things to do but I have to wait until dh gets up so I can make him his coffee. He has gotten confused and agitated when I showed him what to do, so now I just wait and do it instead of dealing with his temper tantrum when using a machine.

Dh is still in bed. He told me he had a very rough night when he was up briefly a bit earlier.

I've been working with recyclables and in the kitchen. Pickup is in the morning.
washed the saltshaker and hidden it well (HRH doesn't get the concept it must dry completely.)

Cathy, dr has suggested Green Tea for me and HRH says cool, since he is quitting coffee (acid), would I start making him some? I mean... .. it's a tea bag. However, I take your point that sometimes it's easier to find the path of least frustration. And I admit I'm pleased that he took over the air fryer use, and I haven't even learned this new one yet.

Teaching spouses something - takes a certain temperament at times. Tone of voice changes the whole room during those times, I've noticed, no matter who is teaching whom.

Twins', best wishes in taking control of the brief meeting and conversation so that time is used wisely for everyone.

order supplements and maybe one script

For the rest of the week, we have one appt on Friday that has been mercifully changed by the nurse to a lab that's close. Won't be that lucky next week.

well hello not Monday PWYC!!!

Sorry I couldn't be here yesterday - I ended up with an all day headache - slept the day away. but dd older and helper took mom out and she loved it!!! she loves the mental stimulation of being out or in the outdoors.

Been busy … yesterday I went to class and then to drumming. By the end of the day I had over 13K steps

Went to the gym this morning and then to the grocery store. Sweetie invited our next door neighbor over for dinner tonight. He is a vegetarian so I am making meatless baked ziti.

Table is set. My house is in good shape and I just pulled out oatmeal chocolate chip cookies from the oven. Will have them for dessert.
