L Ann, that's a great idea with the pool and the dogs.
Let us know how the harness works, Doggedly. Glad I could help entertain you! :D
Yum - all the plums at your place, trissie. Plum butter sounds delicious. Is it like plum jam?
Bama, you seem to have a large property to care for! Good luck with all the outdoor tasks.
Hi Peaches!

Next:
- start a load of darks
- make the bed
- some qt

Later:
- make the bed
- reclaim the kitchen
- can I get in a walk?
- WF: veggies (I can walk to WF!)
- make more olive sauce
- darks: w d f pa
- 6-7 watch Fable
- dinner: olive chicken, taco meat, rice, sauces, veggie
- after dinner clean up
- garbage and recycling
- duolingo
- update health apps
- knitting or reading?

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - slightly down but overall much higher
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website - highs around 80 for the next 2 days, and then they plummet 10-20 degrees. I think this is the last hurrah of summer weather here.
- boil egg and take a.m. med
- payroll: prep IR D8
- payroll: make and set up practice materials for the final exam
- reclaimed kitchen
- s2s and self care
- squeegee and wipe down shower
- make lunch
- gathered everything and otd ~ 10:50
- 11-1 payroll: teach IR D8
- 1-1:40 payroll: teacher meeting
- ate lunch during meeting
- 2-3:30 get together with K, S2, and J
- home; ate yogurt + fruit
- messaged dbro -- maybe not too friendly but I don't like the "crazy uncle" reels he's been PM-ing me. No, I don't think it's funny if an uncle (or anyone) intentionally traumatizes a child - especially if they see it as their "job". No, I don't necessarily believe the outcome will be a good laugh later. Maybe? Depends - and maybe at a price? Maybe I'm taking this c**p too seriously, but he's been inappropriate with my kids before and he can't see it. It almost feels like he's justifying his past behavior, but I'm not sure that's what he's doing. Not worth fretting over.

Go, Peaches!

Helia, you don't owe it to anyone to be gentle when you are protecting your dchildren. Perhaps a sharp response will get the message across.

You have made better use of your time than I have. I have to confess that I have been watching Midsomer Murders while pecking away at chores.
Tuesday
Cleaned up after dog
Gave Germane her Benedryl
Put on a pot of coffee
Put on a pot of rice
Decluttered one kitchen cupboard. Found Germane’s Apoquel that I had lost.
Checked the cans and bottles on the counter and put the dry in the recycling can
FACEd Finances: checked/paid all bills
Put away the dry dishes
Checked the size of the harness: looks good
Washed the dishes
Wiped down accessible surfaces

Wtg, shes!

Doggedly, we used a lift thing for Rex’s rear when he couldn’t get up by himself and thought I saw different sizes, maybe not but I’ll look and see if I can find a link that could help you. How big is Germane? I was thinking hound dog like Job but maybe dachsund now that I think about it. Help before I ramble off the page lol.

If we are confessing, I’ve been watching The Unexplained instead of working. I was cold so turned the AC up and then got warm, and sat. The aggravating thing is they never explain the topic so I’m left wondering. :P

Helia, when I was younger I would make inappropriate comments, speak my mind, and come off as rude not realizing, perhaps a little shake up will make your brother aware that he’s going too far and adjust accordingly.

Since I got up I’ve rotated the laundry, cooked wild rice, roasted okra, heated some pineapple in skillet, soaked chicken in teriyaki, dh grilled it, dogs out, found a crooked Tux whisker that was loose and is now in my whisker jar. Who knew I’d be a senile old lady. Someday someone will find a toothpick holder full of whiskers and say I was crazy as a bat. Good on them.

Off to eat and then see what’s what. Work or play.

LOL, Bama, at least we can't accuse them of false advertising: The Unexplained and we're not explaining it!
Germane is a tiny girl, an 8-lb Maltese mix. With a bigger dog, your hand would be closer to the dog, allowing for more control so you support where you should. With such a little dog, they are very far from your hand, and you could unintentionally put stress on the area that you are trying to protect. I ended up deciding that's it's just safer for her if I carry her and just set her down for short strolls.
We'll hold off calling you senile until you try to knit those whiskers into a hat.
You got lots done!

You too, L.Ann and Peaches

Doggedly I searched “dog lift harness” on Amazon and they had some different options for small dogs that had straps to help lift. Would that work?

Yep the tv show was very clear about their intentions lol

Oops just reread your post. Carrying is good. Fortunately I don’t know how to knit.
