It's been such a slow long process that I have already done some grieving; in a way, my mom has been gone for a long time. But I can feel that I will also grieve when she passes from this earth.

Helia, I just wish I had more photos. We have some but I always want more, celebrating the small moments we spent together, especially when we were both younger. As I age, I picture her at my age and all she overcame, I’d love to have photos to capture it. She wasn’t a talker so we didn’t have any deep conversations about what her life was like. Now I can sort of imagine it from my own perspective anyway. I only wish I could be as strong as my mom was. She dealt with a lot.

It's definitely hard with our moms that are near the end. My mom doesn't talk in conversation anymore either. She still knows everyone and I think she understands more than we give her credit for. No more phone calls and conversation. I think she is not that far along yet but it's definitely not the same.

I'm sorry helian. It's so hard to know how long that stage can be or maybe she will bounce back again.

Hmm I kinda mopped the bedroom end and was waiting for it to dry. Now I should go move things. And switch the curtains to the right ones. I'll post what I did after. Easier.
