Friday on the Fast Track PWYC
Get on the fast track this Friday and get it done! What can you breeze through today and find time for other, more fulfilling things? Or is that list so long that you're shuddering when you thing of it? Get on the fast track to breeze through!
Get set, ready, go!
Get set, ready, go!

Re: Friday on the Fast Track PWYC
Have posted an Autumn 2025 in our Cardfiles thread for our chat about the dailies, weeklies, etc. of household life.
Off On the Fast Track to a blood draw, yuck. Possibly other errands - have prescriptions I think, not that anyone has called about them.

Re: Friday on the Fast Track PWYC
Good luck with that blood draw, Harriet! Hoping for great numbers, as usual!
Millie had her walk, the yard people were here earlier and either put down pesticides or fertilizer so I'm trying to keep her from going out in the back for awhile.
Realized all over again this a.m. that I have haircut this morning at 11 - wishing I had a stretch without going out today but it is what it is. I'll be happy to have my hair shaped up.
Continuing with a.m. routine. Dh took my car already for gas and to be washed/vacuumed.

Re: Friday on the Fast Track PWYC
Hi!
I have a very s-l-o-w day today. Take out 1 bag of garbage from bathroom. Clean 3 litterboxes. I've done one already. (Later... they are all clean!)
Cats have been doing their in-out-in-out-in ... all morning. Dh has had his coffee. One cat who insists on sitting on the table watching dh drink his coffee seems to be inside for a while. The big, beautiful tortie has only gone out once. Everyone has had their morning treat.
No idea what is for supper.

Re: Friday on the Fast Track PWYC
Good morning
With the shift to shorter days and longer nights, my sleep is beginning to adjust. This morning, I woke up to discover I had enjoyed a solid 7.5 hours of restful sleep. It was a delightful way to start the day!
My day is full of possibilities, with no public or home school taking up hours. My hip pad has a list of 11 items I hope to accomplish, and it’s going to keep me busy trying to get them all done. But first, I'm going to enjoy this second cup of protein coffee while listening to my favorite tunes.

Re: Friday on the Fast Track PWYC
A few minutes into our walk, I checked the weather radar and noticed we were surrounded by rain clouds. Hmm...my rule is to walk in any weather except when there's lightning. Since there was no lightning, we decided to keep going and managed to complete the entire 30-minute walk without any issues.
DS17 is getting ready for his three-day off-grid adventure in the woods. He's packing far too many clothes IMHO but I believe packing is a skill you learn through practice, and sometimes mistakes are the best teacher. I asked how much he is getting paid for this work and he didn't know or care. He said Emma (the lady living off grid) is an excellent cook and will keep them well fed. I am taking small comfort in the knowledge that Emma is a retired medical doctor so if an accident happens at least, they will have someone to help keep them alive. Yes, i am overthinking again!

Re: Friday on the Fast Track PWYC
hi d lady
good that you checked the weather -
I hope your ds has a wonderful time. he will learn about packing and carrying too much soon. glad she is in the medical field - when we would go up north in a remote area where only a water plane could be used. it was nice to know the people who were medical people even though we never needed it. Hope he learns so many wonderful things from this adventure. What memories!!!
you are a good mom - you are not overthinking - you are prepared and you want them prepared. it's a good thing.
