lauralind, garden produce can really invade a house! :-)
helia, it is a long way from Michigan to Seattle... and a tough decision to make. When is the latest point you can change your mind?
I didn't realize you have poisonous snakes where you live, L.Ann!
Yay for a well behaved cat, kittykatt!

Home from work. Spent extra ten minutes at home this morning, completed morning routine and loaded CPot with some pulled pork, so the whole day should go easier. I went to bed really late last night again, so I could definitely use a nap, but that would mess my sleep routines even more, so I gotta push through!

TaDas
- morning madness
- morning routine
- pulled pork started
- load of colors sorted, stain-treated, delay-started and flipped to dryer
- day at work
- pick up DBD at school

ToDos
- midday routine
- clean master bathroom
- 15 on laundry

☀️Good morning!

Trissie, thanks for starting us off. Volcanoes are something I don’t know a lot about so it’s interesting to start off with a new insight. Hope you can get to bed early.

Kittykatt, yay on losing weight and cheaper meds. It’s a good thing you have diversity in cats. Can you imagine dealing with 2 or 3 Freddie’s?

LAnn, I can’t imagine walking among snakes, dead or otherwise. I read that baby copperheads are hatching now so I don’t like just walking around the yard, and I’ve never seen one here lol. We do live near some ponds though so there are various types of snakes around.

Helia, it’s good of dh to help with decision making when things are uncertain. Congratulations to your ds on his success.

Laura, enjoy the produce while still in season. Our tomatoes are already waning and we are being sold the greenhouse ones which aren’t even close to taste and texture of a good fresh tomato. Cross country sounds like a good idea.

Hi Peaches.

I’m up, after being up and down most of the night. I guess I need to finish my water intake earlier today if I hope to sleep all night. I’d like to work on every room at least a little today, high goals for high rewards. Let’s see how far I can get.

Done:
Bible
Weigh
Water 💧

Do:
Eat something
Pet chores
♥ Wake each day expecting good things to happen! ♥

We walk on the neighborhood road so it is easy to see any snakes, Bama!! The only injury Little Bit had when she was with me happened when she was 18 months old. WTG Jude, on your excellent manners, attitude and weight loss! You could write a feline etiquette guide for your housemates.

That explains how the snake is still there, L.Ann. I am a fan of snakes and frogs, but not of anything squished. You are a very very good grandmother.

helia, I'm so glad that your dfamily is understanding and working together to support your dmother and your dgchild2B.

Aren't we still in the growing season, Lauralind? I think of October as the harvest time, but I am not actually growing anything.
Cross country running sounds like it might be a great fit for your ds. Be part of a team to help with socializing, but able to focus on his own run so not so overwhelming as ball sports.

Hooray for a loaded crockpot, trissie.

Hi, Peaches.

I'm with you on the tasteless tomatoes, Bama. I bought "local" tomatoes from the grocery store, and they are tasteless like the winter ones that are picked green and shipped to us.

Tuesday
Cleaned up after dog X 2
Gave Germane her Apoquel
Fresh water and kibble for Germane
Gave Germane her Benedryl
Put on a pot of coffee

Dogged, I did check the Mount Teide song - it is a really pretty one! I am not that familiar with Mike Oldfield's instrumental music. But I do like Moonlight shadow very much!
L.Ann, now you're a bad bad grandma, not letting toddlers play with dead snakes! :-)
Bama, I don't know much about volcanoes either, other than how to make one with soda and vinegar - of that I know far more than I'd like!

Mike Oldfield was huge when I was a teenager, trissie, because he wrote the theme music to The Exorcist. Tubular Bells was the first album I ever bought myself. The Five Miles Out album, which has Mount Teide on it, is a good introduction because it has vocal songs that are more like pop songs on it.
